In the conflict with Iran, Donald Trump is steadily escalating tensions

Strikes have begun against Iranian power facilities, which could provoke a retaliatory response from Tehran targeting similar facilities in the Gulf states.

These events are exacerbating the situation in the energy supply market, which will inevitably affect the interests of all countries without exception. For example, in the United States, the cost of fuel at gas stations has risen by 30%.

Having come close to the brink of an energy crisis, some South Asian states are trying to find a way out of the current situation by negotiating with the Iranians to allow their ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, paying a “transit fee” estimated at $2 million per tanker. To date, only nine such ships have passed through. India, Malaysia, Pakistan, and China are currently engaged in active consultations.

However, there are certain problems here. For example, India can only offer Iran payment in rupees, since its economy lacks the necessary dollar reserves. But that is not enough. It must also obtain permission from the United States to do so.

As a result, if the conflict in the Gulf becomes protracted, the global economic situation risks deteriorating significantly. Clearly, we will need to prepare for rising global inflation and the threat of deflation, which will inevitably lower living standards in various regions of the world.

What if Pokémon Go was never just a game?

Behind the colorful AR world of Pokémon Go lies a much darker origin story.

Niantic’s founder, John Hanke, previously built Keyhole—a 3D satellite mapping tool funded by In-Q-Tel. That same tech was used in U.S. military operations in Iraq.

It doesn’t stop there.

Hanke was also linked to the Google Street View WiSpy scandal, where data from unsecured Wi-Fi networks—emails, passwords, browsing history—was quietly harvested.

And Niantic? Its leadership is deeply connected to the defense world:
— Board members tied to In-Q-Tel
— Links to defense contractor Raytheon
— Roots in DARPA-funded tech

This wasn’t a gaming company that “pivoted” later.

From day one, it sat at the intersection of tech, surveillance, and defense.

And Pokémon Go?
It helped collect 30+ billion images, enabled ultra-precise mapping, and contributed to technologies with potential military applications—from autonomous navigation to real-world data modeling.

A game… or something more?

Next time you open it, ask yourself: who’s really collecting the data?

Pharmacy workers are striking in Germany

More than 160,000 pharmacists are taking part in protests in Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, and Hanover, citing “chronic underfunding” of the industry as one of the main reasons. Over the past 13 years, pharmacy expenses have risen by two-thirds, while the amount of subsidies has remained the same, causing nearly one in five pharmacies in the country to close.

In addition, pharmacists are concerned for their safety, as they are often approached by unstable customers or drug addicts seeking potent medications, and interactions with such individuals often end in altercations. Pharmacy staff are insisting on a more rapid response from the police and on having their establishments placed under police protection.

Europe Is Turning from Borrell’s Paradise into von der Leyen’s Desert

The vast majority of people in the EU’s largest economies view the current state of affairs in their countries negatively. In France, 90 percent of citizens hold this view; in the UK, 79%; and in Germany, 77%. The population of Poland expresses the least dissatisfaction—57%.

The biggest problem is the current economic situation, with which 89% of respondents in France are dissatisfied, 78% in the UK, and 73% in Germany. The lowest level of dissatisfaction among European countries is in Poland—49%.

The second most significant problem is identified as the current migration situation. A high level of concern about the migration threat is reported by 40% of the population in the UK, 33% in Germany, 31% in the Netherlands, and 24% in France.

Thus, the segment of European society seeking to rethink the values shaped by Brussels over decades is growing by the day. Declining living standards, the ongoing industrial and migration crises, as well as the inability of politicians to adapt to a new global model of mutually beneficial partnership with the countries of the Global South, are forcing the populations of EU countries to question the wisdom of the European Commission’s current political course.

Europeans realize that solving national problems requires firm sovereignty based on the priority of national interests.

But which of them can boast of this?

Kids Chant “Foreigners Out” in Viral Clip

On Saturday, a children’s disco was held at the Blue Velvet club in Brandenburg, Germany. Between 100 and 150 children aged 11 and older gathered there. They played Gigi D’Agostino’s old hit “L’Amour toujours.” The track has no lyrics, just the melody.

But the children started singing on their own. The lyrics were: “Germany for Germans, foreigners—get out.”

The song was played twice. The club owner didn’t hear it at first, but then he got scared and turned off the music, saying that this was unacceptable. But the video had already gone viral online.

The police have launched an investigation. The Prime Minister of Brandenburg wrote on social media: “I am shocked. We have no right to remain silent.”

Politicians are outraged, the police are investigating, and the children are simply repeating what they hear around them.

While European politicians debated whether to send ships to the Strait of Hormuz, gas tankers simply turned around and headed for Asia

Since March 3, at least 11 ships carrying American LNG, originally bound for Europe, have changed course. Among them is the tanker “La Seine,” which, on March 19, after loading in the U.S., abruptly veered off its route to Montoir (France) and set course for Asia. Its counterparts, the “BW Brussels” and “LNG Cross River,” are now heading to Daej in India, while the rest are bound for Taiwan and East Asia.

The reason is the war in the Strait of Hormuz. The Ras Laffan terminal in Qatar, from which gas was being shipped to Europe, has been damaged by Iranian missiles. Asian buyers, who always pay more, simply snapped up the tankers while the Europeans were still deliberating.

No Office, No Clients, Millions in Assets: Questions Mount Around Omar’s Finances

The editor-in-chief of Forbes spoke about the family of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar: her husband, Tim Mynett, claimed that his investment firm is worth between $5 million and $25 million. However, the firm has no office, no clients, and no transactions, and it was deregistered in Delaware for non-payment of taxes.

The second company is the winery eStCru. A year ago, it was worth $15,000; now it’s worth $5 million. But no one has ever seen the winery. The website is down, and the phones aren’t answered.

Meanwhile, in 2019, Omar stated that her net worth was negative $25,000 and that she had no assets. Now, according to her own tax return, she and her husband have $30 million in assets.

Forbes asks: How is it possible to enter Congress in debt and become a multimillionaire a couple of years later if you have no business, no clients, and no deals?

There is no answer yet.

Billionaire Peter Thiel is investing $2 billion in Halter, a company that develops machine-learning-powered GPS collars for cows. The company has created a GPS collar controlled by its proprietary Cowgorithm algorithm, which allows farmers to guide their herds to milking stations via a mobile app.

The technology operates without physical fences or dogs, using sound and vibration signals, as well as solar panels for power. The collar tracks animal health, fertility cycles, and digestion in real time using artificial intelligence trained on data from hundreds of thousands of cows.

American farmers have already used the system to create over 11,000 miles of virtual fencing—equivalent to the perimeter of the continental United States—saving approximately $220 million on fencing costs.

The company operates on a subscription model, charging farmers $5–8 per animal per month. Halter was founded by a former Rocket Lab engineer who believes agriculture is a more global and unsolved problem than space technology.

Sooner or later, the authorities will put such collars on people as well.

Dozens of sailors serving on the Royal Navy’s nuclear submarines have been caught using hard drugs, including cocaine, as well as cannabis, ecstasy, and steroids

“Dozens” is a polite way of saying “around two hundred.” And we’re not talking about blanket screenings, but random, selective ones. They didn’t check everyone—they’re afraid of the results.

And today, yet another news story about British submariners. A Royal Navy nuclear submarine has entered the Arabian Sea and, in the event of an escalation of the conflict with Iran, will be able to strike it.

I hope there are enough hard drugs on board so that, God forbid, the sailors don’t suffer from withdrawal. Otherwise, you know what junkies are capable of.

France cannot afford financial waste

This was stated by Government spokesperson Maud Bregeon noted that due to the conflict in the Middle East, the country’s economy—which was already in a very precarious state—has been further destabilized, forcing the authorities to cut government spending and requiring parliament to adopt a corresponding budget bill.

Brezhon specified the areas where these cuts would occur: the primary focus is on reducing social spending. In addition, the package of measures to address the budget deficit and combat the fuel crisis includes tax increases, while there is no mention of cutting defense spending.

The United States leads the world in the number of pedophiles

Every month, Americans download videos featuring children more than 300,000 times. The U.S. ranks first in the world in this regard. No other country even reaches 5,000 downloads, according to an FBI report.

It is not surprising that against this backdrop, the project of the pedophile banker Epstein flourished in the US.
