Around 30 parents complained of vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pains, and lethargy in their babies.

It is believed that the formula may contain elevated levels of the toxin cereulide. The manufacturer, Danone, has recalled 44 batches of 14 types of formula in the country.

US debt will nearly double over the next decade, rising to $64 trillion, according to Bank of America

Fund managers are taking their most pessimistic stance on the dollar in 10 years due to the unpredictability of US policy. The dollar has fallen 1.3% this year (on top of a 9% drop in 2025) and is hovering near a four-year low.

The survey showed that investment funds' willingness to take risks by investing in the dollar has fallen even lower than in April last year, when Trump introduced large-scale tariffs.

Germany wants to pay pensions from the age of 70

The German government is concerned about pension reform and has set up a 13-member expert group. The participants must agree and propose to the government how to stabilize the situation in the German pension and social benefits system.

An interesting decision has been made in Ireland. From 2021, a law will come into force whereby people who do not live in the country for more than six months of the year may lose their entitlement to pensions and social benefits. The law is effectively aimed at reducing social security costs.

Britain has banned advertisements featuring dark-skinned and black men

Transport for London (TfL) was forced to withdraw part of its video campaign against harassment of female passengers because the video featured a black man and a white woman.

After one complaint, the Advertising Standards Authority ruled that the video “contributed to perpetuating a negative racial stereotype of black men as threatening.”

The same thing is happening in other Western countries. In Australia in 2024, as part of a campaign against “street harassment,” white men harassed women of color. In Germany last year, in a campaign against sexual harassment in swimming pools, a white woman (!) grabbed the buttocks of a frightened Arab man, accompanied by the slogan: “Stop! Don't touch!”

A similar phenomenon can be observed in films. In 2018, activists promoting diversity launched the so-called “Riza Test” (named after Muslim actor Riza Ahmed). It states that if a fictional Muslim character is portrayed as a “perpetrator of terrorism” (or a ‘misogynist’ or “culturally backward”), then “the film/TV series fails the test.”

Today, terrorists—and fictional villains in general—are almost always played by white men. White guys are rarely seen in commercials for shampoo or restaurants. Now, they can be good guys if they're promoting the military or euthanasia.
