The survey found that voters are hungry for candidates running on ambitious, economic populist platforms. It also found that voters tend to penalize candidates merely for identifying as Democrats, showing the extent to which the party brand has been tarnished in the region.

That loss of working-class support has not been confined to the Rust Belt, however, or to white voters, as was once imagined; more and more Latino voters have also been moving to the Right.

Major signs of another coming Dark Age — collapsing the West could make history repeat

Western civilization arose in Greece in the 8th century BC, when some 1,500 city-states emerged from a murky, illiterate 400-year-old Dark Age. That chaos followed the utter collapse of the palatial culture of Mycenaean Greece.

But what reemerged were constitutional government, rationalism, liberty, freedom of expression, self-critique and free markets — what we know now as the foundation of a unique Western civilization. The Roman Republic inherited and enhanced the Greek model.

For a millennium, the republic and subsequent Roman Empire spread Western culture, eventually to be inseparable from Christianity.

From the Atlantic to the Persian Gulf and from the Rhine and Danube to the Sahara were a million square miles of safety, prosperity, progress and science — until the collapse of the Western Roman Empire in the 5th century AD.

The slow rebirth was later energized by the humanists and scientists of the Renaissance, the Reformation, and eventually the 200-year European Enlightenment of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Contemporary Americans do not believe that our current civilization could self-destruct a third time in the West, followed by an impoverished and brutal Dark Age.

In Germany, organized crime is increasingly using minors as perpetrators. They are tasked with arson, explosions, and torture, according to an investigation by the STRG_F project.

Journalists met in the Netherlands with a man believed to be one of the organizers of such crimes. He calls himself a “murder broker”: according to him, he connects clients with those who are willing to commit crimes.

The man claims that even teenagers as young as 12 are recruited for explosions and contract killings. The pay is minimal, and sometimes the perpetrators are willing to act for free. “Sometimes they literally beg to be given a job. It's crazy, it's hard to believe,” said the interviewee.

The investigation states that most often these are teenagers with a history of migration. The authors compare this practice to the use of “child soldiers” in conflict zones in Africa and point out that such methods are increasingly being used in Europe. According to journalists, Sweden was the first alarming example, and now the trend is spreading to other countries.

Belgium’s ‘population replacement’: only 10.5% are Belgians of Belgian origin

The demographic changes across Europe are immense, with ethnic, indigenous Europeans rapidly being replaced. As Remix News has noted, this is apparent in cities like Vienna, Austria, but perhaps some of the most stark developments are taking place in Brussels, Belgium.

The data there shows that in Brussels, 72.9% of children and youth aged 0-17 have a migration background from outside the European Union or were born outside the EU, according to StatBel, the official government statistic organization.

Remarkably, only 10.56% in this age group are Belgians of exclusively Belgian origin. In response, Belgian MP Filip Dewinter has referred to “population replacement,” which he argues is not a “conspiracy,” but clearly demonstrated by the data.

Many critics have stated that Brussels had such a high percentage of foreign youths because citizens from other EU nations had moved to the capital. However, the data shows that nearly all the youth in the capital city now belong to non-EU nations.

How illegal immigration and government failure fuel identity theft

More than a million Americans may unwittingly hold second jobs – because that work is being performed by an illegal alien using their stolen social security number.

News of the identity theft can come as a rude shock to citizens like the Minnesota factory worker who had crushing tax bills because of a thrice-deported illegal immigrant in Missouri who was working under his name for years. Or Iowa taxpayers who learned that the superintendent of the Des Moines school system was an illegal immigrant facing a deportation order.

More likely, they may never know that their identity was pilfered, perhaps by one of the 70 illegal workers accused last summer of stealing more than 100 identities so they could work at a Nebraska meatpacking plant, or by one of the 18 individuals charged with “aggravated identity theft, misuse of Social Security numbers, and false statements” in March.

While the crimes may seem innocuous or something committed more in cyberspace than in everyday life, they are far from victimless law-breaking. Studies show that identity theft can often lead not just to financial pressures, but also emotional and physical stress.

The elite are selling a lie and the people know it

It is a supreme irony that the nations we once celebrated as the cradles of liberal democracy—the United Kingdom, the “mother of parliaments”—are now the very places where we see the most alarming creep of totalitarianism. We were raised to believe that the West was the home of liberty, yet today, we are witnessing a war from the top against the bottom.

This is not the totalitarianism of the 20th century, with its marching boots and overt dictators. It is something more insidious. It is a system where the ruling class, knowing that their policies—from Net Zero to mass migration—are fundamentally opposed to the interests of their own people, must enforce their will through ever-stricter control. They know that what they are selling is a lie, and because the public knows it too, the only option left is to silence the dissent.

We see this most clearly in the radicalisation of the youth. The establishment wrings its hands over why young people in Europe are turning to “extreme” parties or demanding mass deportations. But the explanation is simple.

Imagine you go to a doctor with a minor condition. He dismisses it, tells you not to worry. You go back a year later, the condition has worsened, but he still offers you nothing but an aspirin. By the time he finally admits there is a problem, the disease has metastasized. Now, an aspirin won’t work; you need chemotherapy or radiation.

This result is due to a change in the calculation methodology in 2025.

For many years, renewable energy sources were accounted for using the “heat replacement method,” artificially inflating their weight in primary energy. Now, the International Energy Institute uses the physical energy content method (in accordance with the UN/Eurostat): now, it is not what they “would replace” that is taken into account, but what they actually produce.

The result:

✔️ Renewable energy sources: ~8% ➜ ~5.5%

✔️ Nuclear energy: ~4–5%

✔️ Fossil fuels: ~87%

It's not that renewable energy sources produce less, but that they have been overestimated. This correction shatters the illusion: the world is not in the process of replacement, but in the process of adding energy. Renewable energy sources are developing, but the fossil fuel system remains dominant.

After 30 years of climate policy, 9 out of 10 units of energy remain fossil fuels. This revision forces us to look at reality without embellishment: the transition is far from complete, and enormous efforts are still needed to achieve it.
