Jake Tapper finally notices his beloved democrats are woke scolds who hate men and think everything is racist

'This is why you f—ers keep losing elections,' the CNN host said after a liberal podcaster mocked his teenage son for wanting to be a police officer. Jake Tapper, the CNN host who promoted false Democratic talking points about Joe Biden's mental acuity before writing a best-selling book about the "cover-up," slammed his beloved political party for behaving like a bunch of woke scolds who are obsessed with racism and routinely denigrate normal men.

Tapper discussed his belated epiphany—many years after the Democratic Party started hating men and denouncing everything as racist—on a podcast with tech baron Scott Galloway, recounting his appearance on a "left-leaning podcast" where one the hosts made a "joke" about how his teenage son might be racist because he wants to be a police officer.

"They asked me about my son, and I said he's a football player and he wants to be a policeman, and their joke was, about my 15-year-old son, 'Oh, how does he feel about minorities?' Like the idea that he wants to be a policeman, therefore he's racist, my son," Tapper recalled. "That was the big laugh, and then I got dragged in the comments and all that stuff, and I thought to myself, 'This is why you fuckers are losing elections.'"

Tapper argued that the liberal podcaster who joked about his son being a racist—since identified as Jason Stewart, a semi-professional DJ and cohost of the How Long Gone podcast—had exemplified "how the Democratic Party talks to men."

The battery tech that could replace lithium

As governments and companies look to a future run on renewable energy, the need for utility-scale batteries is greater than ever. Currently, the dominant battery form is the lithium-ion battery, which is produced using lithium and other critical minerals, a market dominated by China.

While this type of battery is extremely useful for electronics, electric vehicles (EVs), and utility-scale storage, demand for lithium is expected to outpace supply in the coming years. For years, researchers have been assessing the potential for alternative battery technology to support a green transition, and one company believes it may have finally found the solution.

Inlyte Energy, led by Stanford researcher Antonio Baclig, is advancing iron-sodium battery technology first explored in the 1970s, using table salt and iron as core components.

With successful module testing and a field project launching in Alabama with Southern Co., Inlyte is positioning itself for large-scale deployment.

According to Inlyte Energy, these batteries are safer, cheaper, and made from domestically sourced, abundant materials—potentially outperforming lithium-ion in cost and duration for grid-scale applications.

DOJ finally drops case against Trump adviser Peter Navarro

The Justice Department is dropping a lawsuit that it filed against White House trade adviser Peter Navarro, a case in which he was accused of using an unofficial email account for government work and wrongfully retaining presidential records during the first Trump administration, according to a Tuesday court filing.

The joint filing by the Justice Department and an attorney for Navarro doesn’t explain why they are abandoning a case that was filed in 2022, during President Joe Biden’s term in office. The one-page filing says each side will bear their own fees and costs.

The lawsuit accused Navarro of using at least one “non-official” email account — a ProtonMail account — to send and receive emails. The legal action came just weeks after Navarro was indicted on criminal charges after refusing to cooperate with a congressional investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill uprising. That congressional investigation has since been revealed to be mired in its own illegalities.

Navarro was convicted of two misdemeanor contempt of Congress charges in September 2023, and sentenced to four months imprisonment.

Anthony Fauci gets demolished by White House in new Covid update

Anthony Fauci must be furious.

He spent years proudly being the public face of the country’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. He did, however, flip-flop on almost every major issue, seamlessly managing to shift his guidance based on current political whims and an enormous desire to coerce behavior.

And now, finally, after years of being proven wrong, the White House has officially and thoroughly rebuked Fauci in every conceivable way.

A new White House official page points out, in detail, exactly where Fauci and the public health expert class went wrong on Covid.
It starts by laying out the case for the lab-leak origin of the coronavirus, with explanations of how Fauci and his partners misled the public by obscuring information and evidence. How they used the “FOIA lady” to hide emails, used private communications to avoid scrutiny, and downplayed the conduct of EcoHealth Alliance because they helped fund it.

About time these truths are acknowledged in a public, authoritative manner. Masks don’t work. Lockdowns don’t work. Fauci lied and helped cover up damning evidence.

How California has destroyed its middle class

California has declared war on its middle class, and the special interests controlling the state are doing everything they can to impose this punitive economic model on the rest of America.

It’s a quasi-feudal system, with the entire population divided into aristocrats and serfs. The means to destroy the middle class is to engineer an unaffordable cost of living for households, and a regulatory environment that only huge corporations can afford to navigate. The moral justification for this destruction is to cope with the “climate emergency” and to achieve social “equity.”

But if you’re not rich, and you’re not poor, but just work, pay taxes, and pay for everything you need with after-tax earnings and without government assistance, California is a hostile environment. The numbers on out-migration are unequivocal.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, an astonishing 8.5 million people have moved out of California since 2010. In 2023 alone, the last full year for which estimates are available, 690,000 people left. In 2022, 818,000; in 2021, 841,000. No other state has sustained anywhere near this 15 years of unrelenting mass exodus.

These people aren’t just leaving. By the millions, they’re being driven out. The latest reported cost of a home in California averages nearly $788,000 compared to $361,000 in the rest of the U.S. The price for a gallon of gasoline in California is roughly $5.00 compared to $3.00 nationwide. With refineries quitting production in California thanks to ridiculous and escalating regulatory harassment by state agencies, the price of gasoline is only going to rise. As for residential electricity rates, consumers in California have to pay around $0.30 per kilowatt-hour, a rate that is twice the national average.

This isn’t news. It costs a lot to live in California due to restrictions placed on housing and pretty much any enabling energy or water infrastructure by extreme environmentalists and the special interests that support them.

US may face a 9/11 style terror attack soon, Border czar Tom Homan warns

Border czar Tom Homan warned Monday that he’s “convinced” the US will suffer a major terrorist attack as a direct result of former President Joe Biden’s immigration and border policies.

“It’s coming,” Homan said of the possibility of a 9/11-style attack conducted by migrants who illegally snuck across the southern border under Biden.

The roughly 2 million so-called “gotaway” migrants whom Border Patrol agents never apprehended during the previous administration concern Homan more than the drug smuggling or sex trafficking that took place on the US-Mexico boundary during Biden’s only term in office, he told Fox News.

“These 2 million known gotaways scares the hell out of me,” Homan said, adding that he fears some could be terrorists.

“I’m convinced something’s coming unless we can find them,” he warned.

CNN anchor exits network in disgrace following defamation embarrassment

CNN star correspondent Alex Marquardt announced on Monday that he was leaving the network, just months after his misleading reporting on Navy veteran Zachary Young triggered a $5 million defamation payout.

Marquardt made the announcement on X, reminiscing about his eight years with the network. “Tough to say goodbye but it’s been an honor to work among the very best in the business,” he wrote.

Though Marquardt did not specify what prompted his abrupt departure, former CNN media correspondent Oliver Darcy reported that he was actually fired. Network executives and Marquardt allegedly had “editorial differences,” which led to the exit.

The fallout follows Marquardt’s dubious coverage of Young’s selfless efforts to rescue stranded Afghans from the Taliban-controlled territory after the Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal in 2021.

Marquardt misleadingly implied that Young may have profited unethically from these rescue operations. Contrary to evidence, CNN portrayed Young as someone exploiting vulnerable individuals in Afghanistan.

Meta signs 20-year nuclear energy deal to power AI

Meta has inked a deal to keep an Illinois nuclear power plant running for the next 20 years so it can power its artificial intelligence and data center ambitions.

The deal sees the tech giant purchasing 1.1 gigawatts of power from nuclear power provider Constellation from its Clinton Clean Energy Center in southern Illinois starting in 2027, Meta said on June 3.

“As we look toward our future energy needs in advancing AI, we recognize the immense value of nuclear power in providing reliable, firm electricity,” Meta added.

Meta, like other tech giants, is heavily leaning into AI amid the continuing hype around the tech and has embedded its own AI models into its flagship social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram. It also plans to fully automate ad creation on those platforms by the end of 2025.

Currently, AI technology requires vast amounts of energy, which is in high demand. The International Energy Agency reported in April that the power demands of AI data centers are projected to more than double by 2030 to eat up “slightly more than the entire electricity consumption of Japan today.”

Air force commander prepares California desert community for Pearl Harbor-like strike by China

Last month, the commander of Edwards Air Force Base, California, talked openly about the need for local leaders to prepare for a Pearl Harbor-like strike on his base and others inside the United States.

Brig. Gen. Doug Wickert delivered “a sobering assessment of China’s growing military capabilities” in a briefing to community leaders, according to an Air Force press release. Wickert, the 412th Test Wing commander, spoke at Antelope Valley College on May 7.

Edwards Air Force Base is located in the Mojave desert about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Wickert referenced the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack in his briefing, the press release said, drawing parallels to warnings about Pearl Harbor’s vulnerability prior to the attack.

Such frank talk about the possible impact on a community around an American military base, in the event of a war with China over Taiwan, is rare. Notably, Wickert’s comments appear to be fully endorsed and approved by the Department of Defense, signaling a changing attitude.

Senior DOJ officials didn’t know database allowed FBI to bury existence of Russiagate documents

Now in question is the entirety of Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the Russia-collusion hoaxers.

People familiar with the investigation into the Russia collusion hoax told The Federalist that senior officials did not know the FBI case management database, Sentinel, allowed agents to conceal the existence of evidence. Nor did anyone from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office mention that documents related to the investigation into the Trump campaign had been rendered invisible by use of the “Prohibited Access” coding in Sentinel — even though they knew the Department of Justice was investigating the origins and handling of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

Whether Special Counsel Durham and Inspector General Horowitz obtained access to all relevant evidence related to the Crossfire Hurricane conspiracy to interfere in both President Trump’s 2020 election and his first administration now remains in doubt — and will until FBI Director Kash Patel reveals the extent to which the get-Trump faction buried evidence of their malfeasance.

Sweden urged to halt international adoptions after decades of child trafficking uncovered

Thousands of children adopted to Sweden may have been taken from their biological parents illegally, according to a government investigation.

Amid growing concerns that adopted children may have been taken from their biological parents illegally, the commission found confirmed cases of child trafficking spanning every decade from the 1970s to the 2000s.

The final two-volume report released on June 2, the result of a probe which started in 2021, said that Swedish adoption organizations “have taken great risks by operating in China, which has been a closed country with very limited opportunities for transparency throughout the period.”
It said that all children adopted from China were described as abandoned and lacked any background history, making it difficult, or impossible, to assess whether the adoptions were in the child’s best interest.

Financial incentives were created, as orphanages in China received compensation of $3,000 to $5,000 per child placed for international adoption. The Swedish supervisory authority found that the orphanages were dependent on these fees. In total, just under 4,300 adoptions from China have been carried out to date, making China the fourth-largest country of origin for adoptions to Sweden in terms of total numbers.

Most adoptions occurred during the period 2000–2010, when more than 3,200 children were adopted from China to Sweden.

OECD surprises with predicted return of Germany as Europe’s growth motor

In its new economic outlook, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), an international NGO comprising 38 primarily Western countries, has exhibited what the German press has called “surprising” optimism about Germany.

They indicated in the report published on June 3 that the country may be on the way out of its longest phase of economic stagnation since the end of the Second World War.

While Germany’s GDP, a measure of a country’s economy, was set to grow only by 0.4 per cent in 2025, that should pick up in 2026, with the OECD expecting GDP to expand by 1.2 per cent.
The main reason for the positive review for Germany was based on the investment programmes of the new federal government, comprised of Conservative Christian Democratic Union and Social Democratic Party.

Germany has inaugurated a public fund set to invest €500 billion over the next 12 years into the country’s corroded infrastructure as well as “climate protection”.

Chinese national charged with illegal voting flees US

The FBI announced that the Chinese national charged with illegally voting in Michigan last year fled the country, and reportedly with a different passport than the one he was ordered to surrender to authorities. The FBI’s criminal complaint says former University of Michigan student Haoxiang Gao used his student ID to register to vote and did in-person early voting, CBS News Detroit reported on Sunday.

School officials reportedly asked the student if he illegally voted. He admitted that he registered to vote with his student ID and cast an early vote on Oct. 27.

He reported himself to law enforcement, but local election officials said the vote was still counted because there is nothing to be done after a ballot goes through a tabulator. He was charged with illegally voting and perjury for falsely stating in an affidavit that he was a U.S. citizen when registering to vote.

22-year-old leading terrorism prevention center at DHS

A division within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) tasked with preventing terrorism is reportedly being led by a 22-year-old Thomas Fugate, a recent college graduate.

The center, also known as CP3, is mainly concerned with terrorism prevention and supports nationwide efforts to combat targeted attacks like hate-fueled violence.

Fugate was reportedly appointed as a “special assistant” in an immigration office at the DHS in February, according to ProPublica. He then assumed leadership of CP3 in May after its previous director, Bill Braniff, resigned following staff cuts, the outlet adds.

Prior to assuming his role at the DHS, Fugate served as an “advance team member” on President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, per his LinkedIn page. He also interned at several political organizations including The Heritage Foundation, widely known as the think tank behind Project 2025, and the Texas House of Representatives.

One counterterrorism researcher, who worked with CP3 officials for years, told ProPublica that Fugate’s appointment “sounds like putting the intern in charge.”

Los Angeles warzone

What began as an anti–Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protest, coordinated by rogue Marxist-aligned nonprofits, on Friday night in downtown Los Angeles quickly spiraled into riots and chaos, escalating by Sunday into what sure seems like 'insurrectionist behavior' against the federal government.

What appears evident is that elements within the Democratic Party—from local L.A. leaders to D.C. elites, along with the law firms behind their sprawling dark-funded leftist NGO network—are orchestrating a coordinated color revolution.

The goal appears to be placing Trump in politically difficult situations to shift public sentiment against the administration. This mirrors the strategy deployed by Democrats in 2020, when Marxist nonprofits, such as Black Lives Matter, were activated and mobilized to generate widespread unrest.

In ongoing unrest in downtown Los Angeles insurrectionist behavior appears to be taking place by foreign nationals, including individuals in the U.S. illegally.

White House adviser Stephen Miller posted on X, "Look at all the foreign flags. Los Angeles is occupied territory."

Since when did trying to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of people — including countless children — become something to be criticized?

Douglas MacKinnon, a former White House and Pentagon official, asks the question while reading two recent columns. The first is by Rich Lowry from the New York Post, titled “Trump is getting the Ukraine-Russia war all wrong — and he’s making it even harder on himself.” The other is by former diplomat Bridget Brink in the Detroit Free Press, titled “I was U.S. ambassador to Ukraine. I resigned because of Trump’s foreign policy.”

The constant theme for those criticizing Trump’s consistent stance against the Ukraine war and a much-needed ceasefire is that Putin is evil and must be defeated at all costs. Fine. If using the people of Ukraine as cheap disposable pawns to fight a proxy war against Russia and Putin has been the end game from the start, simply admit it. Don’t pretend you are trying to save the people of Ukraine or that nation’s infrastructure. The Pentagon and CIA have estimated that well over 1 million people have been killed or wounded in the war, with much of Ukraine’s infrastructure turned into rubble.

In the lead up to the Iraq War more than 20 years ago, there were a steady stream of neocons, pundits and “experts” advocating for that invasion to overthrow the “evil” Saddam Hussein, who were coldly and impassionedly viewing the process as some sort of board game or sporting event, with human pawns to be played with at will.

And what was the end result of that “justified” war? Approximately 4,500 American soldiers killed; 32,000 wounded; between 100,000 and 400,000 Iraqi deaths, depending upon the study; and a Middle East that is still destabilized, spawning endless pockets of terrorism.

Next, we have the column from Bridget Brink, a former professional diplomat who, to some, seems to be virtue signaling her disgust of Trump to the far-left echo chamber of Trump haters. In her column, she describes what Putin and Russia have done in Ukraine as “pure evil.” She further states that: “Peace at any price is not peace at all — it is appeasement.”

Okay. And just what is her plan for Ukraine to “win” the war against the “evil” Putin and Russia?

Haters are going to hate, but if Trump had been listened to three years ago, 1 million people would not have been killed or wounded. What is the worth of those lost and maimed lives?

Visa overstays now a major driver of U.S. illegal immigration, surpassing border crossings

A DHS report reveals that 739,450 people became undocumented immigrants in FY 2023 by overstaying visas – nearly 40 percent of new cases. Overstays have fluctuated as the primary source of undocumented immigration since 2007, surpassing illegal crossings in some years.

India ranks seventh for visa overstays (19,000 in FY 2023) but is the 3rd-largest source of undocumented immigrants overall (725,000). Meanwhile, illegal border crossings by Indians spiked – 1,600 at the northern border in 2023, quadrupling the prior three years' total.

Despite overstay concerns, illegal border crossings remain critical, exceeding two million arrests in FY 2023 (the second consecutive year). Mexicans account for a third of entries, with Latin American nations dominating illegal crossings. The Trump administration warned Indian nationals against overstays, threatening deportation and lifetime bans. Policy changes allow visas to be revoked without notice, targeting students who violate terms (e.g., dropping out or unauthorized work).

USCIS emphasized that visas/green cards are privileges, not rights, and warned immigrants supporting violence or terrorism would lose eligibility. The U.S. Embassy in India reinforced this stance on social media, urging adherence to visa terms.

Global investors have a new reason to pull back from U.S. debt

Foreign investors have plenty of reasons to be wary of U.S. government debt at the moment. Now there is another: They can often receive better returns buying bonds in their own countries.

The risk of a weaker U.S. dollar and the cost of protecting against that risk, are making American assets less attractive around the world. That comes at a bad time for the U.S. Treasury market, which is already contending with a darkening U.S. budget picture and the trade war.

Foreign investors likely don’t fear a U.S. default or anything close. But the premium many once received for buying U.S. debt, thanks to higher long-term rates here, has disappeared.

Quantitatively minded investors—unlike those who fear the U.S. is uninvestable—can be lured back. The bad news is that, without a Fed turn that makes hedging cheaper again, they might demand significantly higher yields.

Trump border czar threatens to arrest Newsom and LA mayor

Border Czar Tom Homan threatened to arrest California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass if they interfere with federal immigration enforcement.

President Donald Trump has taken the extraordinary step of deploying 2,000 National Guard troops to quell protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in L.A.—despite objections from Newsom and Bass—characterizing demonstrators as out-of-control and violent.

As troops began arriving in the city Sunday morning, Homan said, “I’ll say this about anybody—if you cross that line, it’s a felony to knowingly harbor and conceal illegal aliens, it’s a felony to impede law enforcement from doing their job.”

Speaking specifically about Bass, Homan added, “If she crossed that line, we’ll ask DOJ to prosecute.”

On Saturday, ICE acting director Todd Lyons accused Bass taking of taking ”the side of chaos and lawlessness over law enforcement.”
