The 2by2 Project Core Team has decided to abolish the "OFFICIAL" and "COMMUNITY" (aka UNOFFICIAL) builds.

As for the 2by2 Project, it originally began as a personal hobby, so I do not place a high priority on quality. I build for learning purposes, and as long as it works on my device and is usable on a daily basis, that is sufficient for me.

If you feel there are too many bugs, please consider switching to another custom ROM.

Since AOSP and LineageOS are open source, the source code will continue to be publicly available, and you will always be able to try building it yourself.
To support learning about builds and to facilitate information exchange within the community, we are establishing a new group called "2by2 Project | Build Support".

2by2 Project Android 15 (LineageOS 22.0 based) will be EOL momentaily, we moving to LineageOS 22.1 (QPR1) based.

To address the performance issues, we will not pick transparent QS & white QS anymore.

This made SystemUI lagging & jittery on some devices.

We stick to align with LineageOS normal implementation.

Hmm, unfortunately, 2by2 Project × Pixel OS-based builds may experience some instability at times.
Of course, you can still switch to a Lineage-based build, but in the long run, it’s better not to rely too much on Lineage services or HALs.
Instead, shifting to AOSP implementations will be more sustainable and maintainable.
2by2 Project, and our trees is still my labs and will continue working towards this transition whenever possible.

As Play Integrity got stricter, 2by2 Project will EOL in some devices, it will only be released only for devices that have working TEE.

* Reason: 2by2 Project supports "no rooting" and "primary device" usage, but now it is difficult to keep this usage.

* The source will still be maintained by me, you can still build if it's needed.

* As we know, the root + TrickyStore is now required to get DEVICE+ integrity.
