π In recent Months, there and in the eastern part of the #Kharkov region, all military operations either boiled down to unsuccessful attempts to take #Sinkovka, or to a π Positional Struggle behind the left bank of the #Zherebets River.
πΉ Yesterday the fighting in this area intensified.
βͺοΈ On 18 January, after launching a massive artillery strike, Russian troops started an offensive from #Vladimirovka towards #Krakhmalnoye and #Tabayevka.
βͺοΈ Having crossed the railway, units of the RF Armed Forces managed to advance half a km to the west, taking the N-26 highway under fire control.
βͺοΈ The battered forces of the AFU's 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade are defending in this area, so the Russian troops did not encounter significant resistance.
π The Goal of the Offensive in this area is not just a positional struggle, but access to the #Oskol River in order to further facilitate the advance both near #Kupyansk and along the #Zherebets River.

πΉIn #Zaporozhye Direction, on the #Rabotino - #Verbovoye line, there are oncoming battles. By pulling up reserves, the AFU has made it more difficult for our forces to retake their positions and has achieved de facto parity of forces. However, there is a high probability that the forces gathered there will be sent elsewhere to plug holes in the defence.
πΉIn #SouthDonetsk Direction, in the western part, the front remains also standing and the AFU have also reinforced. πΉIn #Kherson Direction, most of #Krynki remains in the grey zone. Our forces' attempts to gain a foothold in the village have been unsuccessful so far. But they managed to push the AFU back to the bank and to the forest belt. A captured AFU said that sending them to the left bank was a punishment. When planning the operation they did not take into account the number of small islands, sand dunes and ground water, it is impossible to entrench. And taking into account the way ours "iron" the enemy with aviation and artillery, the chances of survival are minimal. By the way, Ukrainian resources claim that the floodgates of the dams in #Kremenchuk and #Dnepropetrovsk have recently been opened. Allegedly in this way the AFU want to flood the islands, simplifying the supply of the AFU on the right bank.

The main thing is that the mine buildings survived and can continue to be used. And without the capture of the YUD-3 and YUD-1 mines, the assault on #Ugledar is fraught with heavy losses for us, as it already happened a year ago, when the firing points and observation posts at the mines were not suppressed during the offensive on the town.

Despite statements about the low importance of the village, the map suggests otherwise. Our main goal is to break through to the left bank of #Kupyansk. The advance of our forces along the riverbed to the west and the liberation of the villages will create a reserve on the southern flank of #Kupyansk. The intention of the Russian command is unclear, but the increased activity of ours may foreshadow quick decisive actions, as in #Maryinka and #Avdeyevka.
π₯At night, our Aerospace Forces attacked the Nova Poshta warehouse in #Selidovo (this is #DPR, still under the AFU). Since the beginning of the conflict, mail has been part of the military supply of the AFU.

The RF Armed Forces operate on the islands in the floodplain of the #Dnieper river, but in the absence of vegetation, an effective system of interaction with the crews of long range weapons, our advanced units have to carry out tasks virtually under constant enemy fire.
βͺοΈ On the #Zaporozhye front near #Verbovoye, the AFU were able to recapture one of the landings in heavy battles. Counter attacks in the direction are regular, both sides suffer infantry losses. Even our battle hardened paratroopers are somewhat puzzled by the nature of the formulation of tactical tasks and their goal setting. At the same time, AFU FPV drones on the #Zaporozhye front have become a huge problem. With the help of repeaters, they are capable of hitting our targets at a depth of up to 17 km from the frontline the total range of the Ukrainian operator is up to 20-25 km, according to estimates from frontline soldiers.
βͺοΈ West of #Maryinka there is a slow advance of our troops in #Georgiyevka. The zone of control near the temple complexes in the west of the village has been expanded.
βͺοΈ In the #Avdeyevka sector, our troops are consolidating on the territory of the Tsarskaya Okhota Recreation Center that was recently taken, and the AFU are trying to counterattack.

And this is the prospect of combining the sections of the industrial zone, Tsarskaya Okhota and #Opytnoye. On the northern side of #Avdeevka, near #Kamenka, despite recent setbacks, our troops continue to attack. Our airstrikes pinned the AFU to the northern and northeastern part of #Avdeyevka, on the ground they moved about 1 km.

Most of the islands on the #Dnieper River remain under the control of our forces, but this at the cost of losses, mainly due to the AFU drones.

Yesterday, on the shore of the enemy, Ka-52 helicopters struck a light multi-purpose guided missile (LMUR, "Izdeliye 305") at a deployment point of AFU UAV operators, the crew was destroyed.

The RFAF are responding with TOS and FABs with UMPC. The enemy is gradually increasing its efforts in all directions and is throwing first echelon units into the battle. Heavy fighting is taking place. According to the troops' assessments from the field, the enemy is preparing to bring the main forces into the battle.
πΉIn the #Kupyansk direction, the Russian Army is attacking near #Sinkovka, west of #Ivanovka and #Kotlyarovka. There are reports of an advance west of #Krakhmalnoye to #Peschanoye.
