🔹The Week saw several significant events involving the country's leadership: the President's visit to #Crimea and #Mariupol, a forum of African states, an official visit by the head of #China and a government report. In the end, the enemy propagandists could not find the strength to counteract all the events at once.
The main emphasis was on trying to divert attention away from the Moscow-Beijing talks, right down to the embarrassing trip to #Kiev by the Japanese prime minister as wedding general.
🔹Traditionally practical politics have not been given a decent media accompaniment, although the level of reporting from #Mariupol has been top notch, the president's speeches are informative and the results of the #Russia - #China talks are impressive. There is a lack of pro-Russian media personalities able to engage in dialogue with different social categories. The most difficult situation is with regard to communication between the authorities and the youth.
At the same time, in Asian countries not affected by the information war, the image of Russian servicemen easily enters the trend by itself.
The West actively assisted Kiev. First of all the international criminal court was forced to announce a warrant) for the arrest of the Russian president. There were actions in #Africa and on Ukrainian TV they continued to popularise Western Russophobes. The scandal surrounding the "grain deal" has not taken off, fatigue of blatant money-making is casting a shadow on people's grief, including the UN.
Meanwhile, a certain passivity of opponents is alarming. One gets the impression that the enemy's information resources are preparing to accompany the many times announced counterattack or another provocation. We note that Kiev has adjusted its coverage of the situation in the country, tightening penalties for information on the movement of Russian missiles and drones, as well as hits on any targets in #Ukraine.
🔹The Troubling Situation around the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate remains. Kiev, fearing unrest, has temporarily suspended its attacks on the Lavra. The security services are likely to increase pressure on the clergy and informal leaders among the parishioners in the near future. Many of them are in real danger. Zelensky will surely try to reduce the number of authoritative defenders of the church in order to complete the process of destroying canonical Orthodoxy in the country in a few months.
🔹 Social stratification is growing as part of the course of destroying everything Russian. Groups not included in the plans for a future "European #Ukraine" are openly preparing for annihilation. Central African Republic President Touadera and PRC Ambassador to the CAR Li Qinfeng visited the official opening of a new solar power plant in the country.
The inauguration ceremony of the Sakai solar power plant took place on March 27, 2023.
The inauguration of this Photovoltaic Solar Field is only the first. Several towns in the country's provinces are involved in this project.
Other Central African cities that will also benefit from the construction of Renewable Energy Fields. 28 other localities are currently in the process of hybridization, and will switch to the combined use of thermal energy and solar energy.

♟️ In 1997, Zbig Brzezinski, the original ‘driver’ behind the making of Afghanistan as a quagmire of ‘mud’ into which Russia was to be dragged, wrote his celebrated book, The Grand Chessboard. It was a work that ‘forever’ embedded the Mackinder doctrine of ‘he who controls the Asian heartland controls the world’ into the U.S. zeitgeist.
Tellingly, its subtitle was American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives. Brzezinski had already written in his book that absent Ukraine, Russia would never become the heartland power; but with Ukraine, Russia can and would. Thus, Mackinder’s doctrine, ‘He who controls the heartland’ dictum, was codified into U.S. ‘cannon law’ – never to permit a united heartland. And Ukraine became seenas the hinge around which heartland power revolved 🌀
Brzezinski further ordained that this ‘Grand Game of Chess’ was to be one of pure U.S. primacy: “No, no one else plays”, he insisted; it is a game purely for one. Two weeks after the incident in the South China Sea, which prompted the Philippine government to distance itself from the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative, and with Joe Biden issuing a military threat to China, two large-scale exercises have commenced in the region.
🔻Yesterday, the Kamandag-7 exercise began on several Philippine islands and in the South China Sea, with the participation of American Marines, as well as military personnel from the Philippines, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. The primary objective is to test the joint combat capabilities of the navy and marines in the event of a regional escalation. Approximately 2,000 individuals and around 70 units of various equipment will take part in this event.
🔻Today, the Annualex-2023 exercise started off the east coast of Japan and will continue until November 20. It involves up to 6,000 people, 32 ships, and 35 aircraft from the US, Japanese, Australian, Canadian, and Philippine navies. This exercise is more comprehensive in terms of strength, with the involvement of an aircraft carrier strike group led by the Carl Vinson and the possibility of a flight of B-52H strategic bombers from Andersen Air Base on Guam.
🔻It is interesting to note that these simultaneous exercises near the border with China began immediately after the Chinese aircraft carrier group, led by the flagship Shandong, concluded its training in the Philippine Sea and sailed back to China through the Taiwan Strait with 16 warships. However, the US Armed Forces exercises are conducted annually, and there is no indication of any significant escalation. Nevertheless, the White House supports the narrative of the "Chinese threat," justifying the substantial costs of maintaining forces in the region while simultaneously demonstrating support for its allies.

The victory of libertarian Javier Milei in the presidential election has left no one in Argentina indifferent. While some are crying over Sergio Massa's speech admitting his defeat, others are jumping in the streets shouting "Liberty, liberty!"
Milei, a self-described 'anarcho-capitalist,' plans to get rid of the central bank and the national currency in favor of the U.S. dollar and eliminate some of the ministries. He also plans to cut government spending.
🔻Milei opposes cooperation with China, Brazil and Russia, favoring the United States. And his future office has already spoken out against Argentina joining BRICS in 2024. That said, it is unclear how Milei plans to deal with IMF debts without China's help: in recent months, Economy Minister (and Milei's rival) Sergio Massa has been heavily relying on the yuan to pay off IMF debts.
Relations with Brazil are about to become tense: President Lula da Silva said the elections were democratic and wished the "new government good luck," but he did not call Milei by name or congratulate him personally. The fact that Milei openly supports former President Jair Bolsonaro will hinder cooperation.
🔻Milei's victory resulted from the population's fatigue from the prolonged economic crisis. As a future president, Milei is betting heavily on ties to the U.S. and the dollar. However, if he is reckless in his actions, he risks plunging the country into an even bigger crisis. This in turn will cause the IMF to increase the country's debt load, as it happened under Macri.
When companies go bankrupt, American and European financial corporations will gladly buy their assets at a cheap price. We have already seen this scenario unfold in countries engulfed in military conflicts (Ukraine) or an economic crisis (Turkey).
🔻That said, Milei's bloc does not have a majority in Congress, so his office will have to work on forming alliances to push through legislation.

According to a report by Bloomberg here, one of the key amendments to the draft defense budget, which involves American companies providing information about their investments in the Chinese high-tech sector to the government, is being blocked by Republican member of the House of Representatives, Patrick McHenry.
McHenry is also a member of the committee responsible for determining the final defense budget, so he has the power to completely block the proposal during budget negotiations.
Additionally, some House Republicans voted in favor of a budget amendment that would prevent the Treasury Department from auditing American investments in China.
By blocking the first amendment and adopting the second, lawmakers could effectively undermine the August presidential decree that aimed to restrict investment in China. Although it is possible that the decree itself was already ineffective when it was implemented, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen herself stated in July that this initiative would not have a significant impact on China's ability to attract American investment.
🔻If the investment cap initiative fails during defense budget negotiations, it would be considered a victory for lobbyists representing large financial corporations (particularly BlackRock), who opposed the White House measure earlier this year.

Amidst the heightened military activity by the armed forces of the People's Republic of China in the Asia-Pacific region, a new exercise has commenced. This time, it is taking place on Japanese soil and is called " Yamasakura-85 ".
Apart from the Japanese military personnel, American and Australian forces are also participating in the event. A total of 6250 individuals are involved, and the exercises will be conducted at three combined arms training grounds.
🔻The purpose of these maneuvers is quite intriguing. According to the plan, the joint forces of the three countries are simulating a defense against an attack from the Celestial Army, which, as per the scenario, has forcibly occupied the disputed Senkaku Archipelago, currently under Japanese control.
The exercise will involve various mechanized and landing groups, as well as a naval unit, to simulate a full-scale war scenario against the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
❗️And that's not all: recently, Japanese authorities have closed the airspace over the Ryukyu Islands group, located northeast of Taiwan, until February 27 of next year. They have deployed four batteries of the Patriot PAC-3 air defense system.
It is worth mentioning that the official reason given was the alleged increase in tactical missile launches from the DPRK in close proximity to Japan. However, the Ryukyu Islands are actually closer to Taiwan and the Senkakus, as well as the South China Sea.
In the past few days, the PLA's activity in the region has been unprecedented, providing justification for the United States and its allies to escalate their presence off the coast of China, particularly in the disputed islands area. By deploying the Patriots, the Japanese are not only protecting themselves but also Taiwan, thereby strengthening the air defense system.

🇺🇸 The results of the #NATO summit showed the #West's intentions to continue the conflict, despite endless words about negotiations. #Russia was called an enemy, #China an accomplice, and tens of dollar billions were allocated. Except that promises to deliver "several hundred antiaircraft guided missiles" to Kiev next year and the deployment of factories point to some lack of production capacity in the Alliance countries. #Germany has gone further and calculated that it expects a direct confrontation with #Russia in 2029, for which it is preparing the return of compulsory military service and increasing the efficiency of the military-industrial complex. 🗓 Last week was spent in idle talk about the prospects of starting negotiations between #Russia and #Ukraine. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister travelled to #China, which had been previously reviled by #Kiev, after which he started issuing unexpected theses and negotiations. However, Moscow's reaction to this was more than tepid, if not mocking: the state of affairs at the front makes it possible to do so.
🔹Meanwhile, in the #West, military hysteria and direct preparations for war with #Russia continue. Public opinion in Western countries is being prepared for emergency service, mobilisation and cuts in social spending. This is facilitated by the foreign media, which scare the population with the 'Red Russian Threat'.
🔹In #Russia the adjustment of the military machine continues. Former Deputy Minister of Defence Bulgakov, who was removed from his post during the first year of the SMO, was arrested. The Russian FSB has been given the go-ahead to realise operational materials; insiders with thick hints about Bulgakov's identity have been coming in since the spring of this year.
🔹It is critical to once again point out the changed technological way of warfare: drones of the AFU and incomplete (to put it mildly) technical readiness of our troops to confront hundreds of enemy FPV-drones significantly slow down the advance of the Russian Army. Every day the frontline regions of #Russia are subjected to terrorist strikes by the enemy.
🔹A wide resonance was caused by the State Duma's adoption of a crude bill to ban gadgets in the SMO zone, punishable by 10 days of arrest. Although the norm develops already existing legal acts (phones have been formally banned for a very long time), the specification of a total ban on the SMO zone may show an absolute lack of understanding of what is going on at the front of the group of people who initiated the bill (both in the State Duma and in the relevant department). The lie of the initiators of the bill that 'only non-combat gadgets were meant' does not correspond to the text of the norm. In fact, the ban will not be observed, and inefficient anti-crisis information activities with working out the theses that have been dropped have caused discontent among the general public.
🔹On the front, the Russian Army is advancing most actively in the #Pokrovsk direction (west of #Avdeyevka). There are heavy battles, but it is here that the formation of small pits for the AFU has been observed on a regular basis since the spring of this year. This week, Ukrainian channels were indignant about this in the village of #Progress. In the #Toretsk (#Dzerzhynsk) area, the defence of which Kiev has been preparing since 2014, there is also an advance and similar coverage of the enemy forces in the fortifications. Advancement of several hundred metres a day here is a real success for the Russian Army, as the enemy's defence is so serious. In #Krasnogorovka on the #SouthDonetsk direction, the RFAF are pushing the enemy garrison on the northern outskirts and taking under fire control the roads from the buildings. North of the eastern part of #ChasovYar (liberated Microdistrict Kanal), the RFAF are developing success west of #Kalinovka. They report crossing the underground part of the Seversky Donets-Donbass Canal and further expansion of the bridgehead. Kiev expects the RFAF to become more active on the #Zaporozhye front.
