4. Under field, click on arts and humanities/science
5. Subcategories: pick linguistics or Technical writing
6. Pick technical writer as current role

After that, turn on the Expert option on your profile.
Lastly, add more skills and complete the screening for them. Try 2 or 3 more skills and make sure you pass them.
If you need help with the screening, you can reach out.
If you have the Playground showing on your profile, these steps can increase your chances of getting matched with a project.

If you opened Outlier, took the assessment, then got an email saying your account was deactivated, try logging back in and check again.
Some accounts seem to be back. If your violation wasn’t too serious, you might find your account active again.
Go back, check your profile, and complete the steps they’re asking for, especially if they say your profile is too weak.
Did your deactivated Outlier account come back? Check and let me know.

There is different between, Aether project removal, Outlier account deactivation and suspended
When Aether is removed, the account can still get other projects
When Outlier account is deactivated, you can still withdraw money from the account but you cannot get any other projects
When Outlier account is suspended, this is the final bus stop, you cannot withdraw and you cannot get projects, infact you cannot access the account anymore..
The last one is the worst

Aether is good now if you happen to get an account.
One thing i noticed now, if you want to create an account and you tried and it gives you 4 steps, just keep navigating the whole skills until you are able to get the one that will give you 3 steps
Not that 3 steps creation is not going to have Aether ineligible but still, it has a better chance of success than the 4 steps account creation.
