Topic: Rejoice at the Word of God

Your promises are the source of my bubbling joy; the revelation of your word thrills me like one who has discovered hidden treasure. Psa 119:162 TPT
Read 2 Chronicles 20-18-22; Acts 27:23-25; 2Cor 4:13

Every word of God is pure like Silver tried in the furnace of fire, it cannot be contaminated. God’s word cannot be contaminated, taken away, or made of no effect. Jehosaphat in the text, waited to hear from God because he knew God’s word never fails. God did above all that He could ever think or imagined.

The evidence of the spirit of faith is that you cheer up and remain cheerful through it all. Many times, you just do not feel like cheering up. You might be simply tired of all the revolving questions ranging from.. ‘I do not know why I am in this situation; why is God silent concerning the issues that are bothering me; I have no idea as to how to get out of this situation. Does this sound familiar? The scripture admonishes that you cheer up. Do not lose your God-given joy, as the evidence of faith is that you stay cheerful. Regardless of what is going on, like Jehoshaphat, cheer up; like Paul, take the words you have heard from God and run with it. So, get up in victory, declaring what your Father God has settled on your behalf. Staying cheered when it looks gloomy is the evidence of complete trust in God and His Word.

Rejoice before the manifestation. Stay in faith by giving glory to God as you go through the process. God’s Word never fails. If He has said it, then it will come to pass. We are admonished to be filled with the Spirit. Joy is a fruit of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. When you are feeling downcast, spend a lot of time fellowshipping with God. Remind yourself of the promises in His Word. Rejoice as if you have the physical manifestation of all that is yours in Christ Jesus.

Confession: I am not moved by what I see, I am only moved by the Word of God. Therefore I will rejoice for God has blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.

Topic: Walking in Love

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Rom 5:5 KJV

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.Gal 5:6 KJV. Walking in Love is our nature for we are born of God. We can love the way God loves.
Beloved, we should love one another because love is from God; and everyone who loves has been begotten by God, and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God because God is love. 1Jn 4:7-8 AFV. The Love of God is independent of people’s actions and this is the Love that we are capable of showing because as He is so are we in this world.

Every day, we must choose to let the Love of God show through our words, thoughts, and actions. Our love for others must be as unconditional as God’s Love for us is. As we walk in Love, we walk in Victory because we are walking in the Light of God’s Word.

Confession: I will walk in love towards everyone. I am patient, kind, not easily provoked, not disrespectful, not boastful, not arrogant, I do not keep a record of wrongdoing, I believe the best of everybody because I am a love child of a love God, I am quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your heart and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV)

According to the Strong's concordance, the word "Keep" means to be a watcher in advance, i.e. to mount guard as a sentinel (post spies at gates); figuratively, to hem in, protect:- keep (with a garrison).

The peace of God on the inside of the believer serves as an indicator when something is right and when something is wrong. It mounts a guard to keep the believer from harm. This peace is the peace Jesus gave. It surpasses all understanding; it is not the absence of danger or the presence of danger. This peace is that quietness and confidence on the inside of the believer. When that sense of rest is troubled, the umpire on the inside is trying to get your attention. When that sense of quietness and confidence is assured, the umpire on the inside is affirming your direction. I have heard many testimonies of believers who suddenly felt that peace disturbed and moved out of a place and something tragic happened but they were no longer there.

God will speak to you through His word, as you read the scriptures, a verse will stand up and seem to have your name written on it. God will not lead you contrary to his character. A word in a message could do the same. Learn to act on such words quickly; you are exercising your spirit man.

Confession: I am sensitive to the leadings of the Holy Spirit. The peace of God keeps my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen

Psalm 91:4
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shall thou trust; his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

God's cover does not wait for an accident to happen. That's not the kind of cover we have because he says no evil will befall you. God's cover is before an accident. It works if you have one, and it works after you have one, but it also works to prevent one from happening.

In Matthew 23:37 Jesus gave us something to think about there, he says O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets and stonest them that are senth unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and ye would not! Jesus is giving us that sense of cover. God is passionate about us. He is willing and able to deliver us at all times. Remain in the shadow of the Almighty.

Confession: I dwell in the secret place of the most high God. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Therefore, no evil will befall me.

So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.
Exodus 33:22 NKJV

Read: Exodus 33:18-23

A cleft is a hollow, an opening, a split or space in the rock. Moses wanted to see the glory of God, but God said, “I will hide you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand.” The cleft is a place of refuge where safety and protection can be guaranteed.

The cleft of the rock represents the wounds of Jesus that opened the door for us to enter into God’s glory. The types and shadows in the Old Testament are referring to our salvation in Christ. The Rock that gave water in the wilderness was a representation of Christ (Ex. 17:6; 1 Cor. 10:1-4)

The cleft of the rock is a place of healing through the wounds of Jesus. His wounds represent your grief, sorrow, and affliction. His stripes are the medication for your healing (Is.53:4-5), but you must speak to the Rock so the rivers of healing can flow to you. (Num.20:8)

Do you seek safety and protection? Come to the secret place, which is the cleft of the Rock. Do you seek spiritual, physical, and emotional healing? Come to the cleft of the Rock. There is an open invitation for you, child of God. Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

Confession: I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and I am hid with Christ in God. No evil befalls me, for I am covered by the Blood. By the stripes and wounds of Jesus, I am healed spiritually, physically, emotionally, and intellectually in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Exodus 33:19 – Then He said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

The cleft of the rock is the place of God’s goodness, mercy, and compassion. You can not run to the cleft of the rock and not encounter the mercy and goodness of God. In 2 Kings 4:1-7, a certain woman of the sons of the prophet ran to Elisha, her sons were about to be taken by the creditors but because she knew the right place to run to, she saw the goodness of God.

The cleft of the rock is the place of God’s power and His manifest presence. You cannot be in His presence beholding as in mirror the glory of the Lord, like Moses did and not be transformed. The people could not look at his face because the glory of the Lord had a physical effect on him. (2 Cor. 3:18; Ex. 34:35).

The cleft of the rock is the place of identity, covenant unity and oneness, the wounds of Jesus were His wedding rings with us, He is the groom, and we are His bride. Christ in us has made us perfect in one (JOHN. 17:23). We have been inscribed on the palms of His hands. We have a covenant unity with Him (Is.49:14-16).

The hollow of God’s Hands is your dwelling place you need not be afraid because He cares for you, don’t doubt the love of God He is so passionate about you, learn to run to the cleft of the rock. For who is God except the LORD? And who is a rock except our God?

Today’s Thought: Christ is the rock of your salvation, His wounds are a representation of the hollow or split in a rock where every believer can seek refuge and find help in the time of need. The veil of the temple has been torn, and you have access to the presence of your Father.

Topic: Robe of Righteousness

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. (Isaiah 61:10 KJV)
Read Luke 15: 22-32
Jesus, your High-Priest has given you His robe of righteousness, and you qualify for mercy. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV).

You have the robe of righteousness, and when you stand before God, there is no condemnation. Jesus is the head, and we are the body; walk and talk with confidence. You are qualified to receive all the blessings of God for your life and your family. Go into today and be a light to everyone and a salt unto the earth.
Confession: I am righteous through Jesus, and therefore, I manifest the fullness of the fruits of the spirit in every area of my life.

Hearing the Father’s Voice

John 10:27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Read 1 Samuel 3: 4-10

In this season that we are in, it is critical to hear the Father’s voice. An important illustration is what we have in this passage; The Sheep hear the voice that they are familiar with.

Becoming intimate with the person of the Shepherd, helps the believer to know His voice. The sheep are never far away from the shepherd, they are always together as they go from pasture to pasture. It is so apparent how the sheep in our environment respond to their shepherd, that they have a close relationship and would, not respond to a stranger.

To know the Master’s voice is to know HIS presence, HIS Word. A very good example is with Samuel in Eli’s house. Samuel didn’t yet know the Lord, so he assumed the voice he was hearing was Eli’s. The voice you are familiar with is the voice that you are ready to follow. The moment Samuel yielded to Eli’s counsel and responded to God appropriately, it launched him to a new level of ministry to become one of the greatest prophets. We have to know His voice and the only way we can know the Voice of God is through His Word. God will not talk to you outside of His Word.

Today, choose to develop intimacy with God, and spend time in the Word of God. Meditate on the Word. Speak it out, discuss it and let the Word of God saturate you. In these times, it is the voice that you know that will lead from danger, lead you to your breakthrough.

Confession: Today, I will put the Word of God first. I will value intimacy with God, my father. I will be led by the Holy Spirit always. I will never be led astray in Jesus' name.

Psalm 105:37: He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.
Job 5:22: You shall laugh at destruction and famine, and you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

Read: Ex 9:23-26, Ex 3:21—22,

The plagues in Egypt ushered in a recession. With livestock destroyed, farms stripped of their produce by hail the nation was wasted, but God made a distinction for the children of Israel in Goshen. In the midst of economic woes, God gave the Israelites a strange instruction. They were to receive from their master’s gold, silver, and expensive clothing for their journey.

No one wants to give out their best in a recession, but the favour of God through the Passover lamb was upon them, and they did not leave empty. Israel did not join the recession. God has given the believer immunity from recession and famine, His covenant of favour guarantees divine provision, angelic intervention, multiplication, growth, and abundance. Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Joseph, Elijah, Elisha, and many others were supernaturally and abundantly sustained in recession and famine. When a recession is announced, you don’t need to participate because the dividing line of the blood of Jesus is still effective.

Confession: I have the covenant of favour working for me. In times of famine, I shall laugh.
