Topic: FULFILL PURPOSE

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

As believers, we must constantly be aware that God has a purpose for us. God has meticulously designed and orchestrated our place of birth, education, spouse, children, church, work, friendship, and every aspect of our lives. There is a purpose. Just as Esther was placed in her position for a reason, and Joseph, despite his suffering, was promoted ahead of his brothers to preserve them, we too are part of God's grand design.

When we fail to understand why God has favoured us, abuse will be inevitable. Pride will rule us, and we will indulge ourselves in things and activities we have no business being involved in. God's purpose is that we are salt and light wherever he has placed us, and we should be a reflection of his glory everywhere we go. If our faith does not affect our community and those around us then we are not fulfilling our purpose.

Confession: I am a salt and light to this World. I reflect His glory everywhere I go.

Topic: CREATED TO WIN

1.Jn 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Read: Judges 4

We can all learn from the life of Deborah, the wife of Lappidoth, a judge and prophetess who inspired, guided and followed Barak to battle, and gave Israel rest for 40 years. I believe in this hour, God is raising women and men whose domestic responsibilities will not conflict with their occupational and spiritual calling. They will wear many hats, and by the grace of God, bring rest to their families and nations.

As you press into the spirit of God through personal fellowship with God, and in intercession before him, you will bring down generational strongholds and primordial spirits who have held in bondage the destinies of families. You are an eagle like Deborah. Your anointing rises to the fore in the midst of the storm.

There is someone in you bigger than all the forces of darkness put together. There is a power in you, on your inside that sustains the universe, there is someone in you who was and is and is to come; therefore you can not be defeated.

Arise woman of God take your tent peg like Jael and pin away 'Sisera commander‘ of the evil in your family forever. You are called and anointed for a time like this. Your prayer power is your staying power.

Today’s Thought: You are called and anointed for a time like this. Your prayer power is your staying  power.

Topic: Be Courageous

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong (confident) and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
Joshua 1:5-6 AMP

Read: Joshua 1:1-9

Fears come to each and every one of us. That is no news. The news is that in the midst of your fears, it is possible to be at peace, because the Greater One on your inside knows the outcome of the situation and He says, "It's ok".

Joshua, after the death of Moses, was put in charge of the children of Israel by God Himself. It was a great assignment and just like any normal person, l am sure Joshua in his mind was thinking to himself and saying, "God are you sure about this? I saw how Moses handled the assignment. I saw how often he had to stand between them and your anger. Lord, I don't think I can do this." He must have been afraid of the task God had given him which was why God told him fear not. Be courageous because l am with you wherever you go. You might have been or might even be in a terrifying situation that is almost causing you to run if possible, or may be a situation that left you trembling all over. If in the midst of the situation you choose to fight the fear, and face the challenge.

Instead of giving in to the fear and running away from what you think will happen, you will find that God's peace will keep you, and the fear will vanish. God promises in His word to never leave you nor forsake you, even if you are in the valley of the shadow of death He says He is with you to protect and keep you. He will stand with you throughout and bring you through the situation safely.

Learn to use God's word in the midst of your fears. Psalm 91 is a good place to start. Claim His promises for your life. His protection, His provision, His preservation are all sure. Choose to fight the fear instead of allowing it to conquer or over power you. Let your faith fight the fear. Don't give in to panic but stay focused on the promises of God, confront the fear, allow faith to fight it and His peace will guard your heart.

Confessions: I have not received a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Action: Write down God's Word concerning every area that you are fearful about. Begin to speak these words every day.

Topic: GOD'S PECULIAR PEOPLE

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
1 Peter 2:9-10 NKJV

Peculiar can be defined as strange, odd, queer, uncommon, unusual, distinctive in nature or character from others. God has called us a peculiar people. We are not like other people. Our ways are to be different because we are different. Our doings, ideas and character ought to be different from others because we are different. We are to be pace setters and not copiers of the world.

God chose the people of Israel as His own special people. He made a difference, a distinction between them and the Egyptians. That difference earned them the enmity of the Egyptians, but the distinction was clear. As long as they did not try to go back to the dark place, they were protected and provided for. When they tried to tell God that He did not know what He was doing, and tried to compare themselves with the Egyptians they suffered as they stepped into the dark by themselves. You are a peculiar person. Do not try to be like everyone else but be like your Father who has made you different deliberately.

Today’s thoughts: We are to be pace setters and not copiers of the world. God chose the people of Israel as His own special people.

Topic: Knowledge Builds Trust

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
John 10:27 NKJV
They won't follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don't recognize his voice."
John 10:5 NLT

Read John 10:10-27

God cannot lie. He cannot shortchange us. He is always faithful. These truths will take a while to strengthen their place in your heart because you might have been disappointed by people you trusted before, but God is not like that.

The best way to know God is through His Word and spending time in His presence. As you do this, the truth of God's Word becomes so real to you that no matter what happens, nothing will shake your trust in God. A guest at home beckoned at a child to jump from a high place into his arms, but instead, the Child burst into tears. The Child's father repeated the same request, and the Child happily jumped into his waiting arms.

The difference is that the Child knew that the father would be there to catch him and as for the stranger, he was not so sure. Is God a stranger to you or is He your Father? If we are truly the sheep of His pasture, then we will know His voice. This knowledge is built through the continuous reading, studying, and meditating on the Word of God, and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can discern His voice.

How much of the Word that you have digested will reflect in how much trust you have in God's Word. In this season, you will not lack or beg for bread because He is our shepherd. When we know the character of God, that He can never fail us, He loves us unconditionally. Therefore, we can lay hold on His promises and keep declaring them until they manifest. Knowing God's character is the key to feeling confident and secure in our relationship with Him.

Today's thought: Do you trust God enough to jump into His arms? Are you ready to believe the Word of God?

Topic: BUILD YOUR FAITH MUSCLES

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in Faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Romans 4:20-21 NKJV

Read: Romans 4:17-25

The word of God is God because the Bible says the word was with God, and the word is God. Most believers have no problem with the efficacy of God's word but often wonder if the word will have the same effect from their own mouth. God's words are Faith filled and cannot fail. The same Faith is available to us because, to every man, God has dealt with the measure of Faith. Jesus enjoined us to have the God kind of Faith. He wouldn't have said so if it was not possible. The believer in Christ Jesus has a measure of Faith that we can liken to a muscle.

A bodybuilder does not get new muscles apart from the ones he got at birth. Though the bulging biceps are noticed, they have always been there. The truth is that every healthy person has the same capacity to build muscle through healthy living and exercise. The same is applicable in the spiritual realm. A believer has the God kind of Faith in him. All that is required is to build the Faith by studying the word of God, spending time meditating and confessing God's words.

Confession: This week, I am divinely favoured by God, therefore I will step out in Faith irrespective of the news all around. I choose to believe the Word of God and not the word of satan.

Topic: ALWAYS AHEAD

1 Corinthians 2:7-9 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have  entered into the  heart of man, the  things which God  hath prepared for them that love him.

Your future is unfolded by revelation from God. The Bible says that God wrote your days down before you were born. God knows what he has written concerning you they are revealed by the Holy Spirit. The devil does not have your files, but he observes you and may try to interrupt your life through adversity tests and trials. Your life is a coded book and a guarded secret by heaven.

Psalms 139:15-16 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, Which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

The devil, through Herod, tried to kill Jesus. In fact, Jesus was no longer in the manger when the wise men arrived, and he was in the house. Herod estimated his time of birth and ordered the killing of all children between the ages of two and under who were in Bethlehem and the coast. This is proof that Satan is not omniscient. It took the wise men going to Herod‘s palace to reveal the birth of Jesus. When Moses was born, baby boys were supposed to be killed, but God preserved him, and the crocodiles in the Nile River could not get him. God directed Pharaoh‘s daughter, a princess, to where he was, she adopted him, paid his mother to raise him, and he was well educated and funded by a regime he was going to oppose.

God is always ahead of the devil. When you continue to love the Lord and seek him, fellowshipping with him, you will experience more and more of what heaven has prepared for you. The preparation is complete.

Confession: Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for me.

 Topic: ENTER INTO REST

 Read: Romans 4:17-25

To every child of God, there is a rest promised to him or her. That rest is that of full assurance in the faithfulness of God and His ability to do what He says He would do.
Heb 3:19 says,” So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief”.
An unbelieving heart actually calls God a liar. The children of Israel saw the miracles of provision that God performed on their way to the Promised Land. When they lacked water, He caused water to come out of a rock. When they cried out for meat, He gave them quail and manna. He even provided a pillar of fire to keep them warm at night and a pillar of cloud to protect them from the heat of the desert by daytime.

With all these that God did for them, one would have expected that when it was time to go into the Land of Promise they would do so with confidence in the full assurance of faith in a God who is able to do miracles.
In Numbers13:31-33, we read, ”But the men who had gone up with him said, ”we are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants……and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

They had every reason to believe God, but they chose not to. God is able to call those things that are not as though they were and they will be. Let’s learn to take Him at His word so we can enter into the rest He has promised to us His children. They did not believe that they could enter into their rest. They walked in to spy, and they came out forgetting who sent them and the words He had spoken to them from the beginning. He had told them He was taking them to the Promised Land, but when they got there, they refused to go in. Had He changed His mind? No, but they had allowed fear to creep in. God would not promise you something and change His word later. He is faithful.

Confession: I choose to believe the report of the Lord. He is true to His word. He says what He means and does what He says. Therefore, I believe Him that I can enter into my rest.

Topic: OUR DELIVERER

Exodus 15:11 Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?

Read:  Exodus 15:11-19

Through God, we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.  Our God and Father is called many names, but in this time, one name of His is very important. He is our deliverer.

In  times of trouble, He is always present to  deliver His people, but to activate that  power in our lives, we need to walk with Him all the time, not only during the bad times. We need to fellowship with HIM and walk closely with Him on a daily basis.  Do not wait for trouble to call upon Him.

Turn to Him in faith on a daily basis, spending time in His word and getting to know Him. When we do that, we will build confidence and trust in Him such that when trouble comes, we will call in faith, and He will deliver us.

Confidence comes from knowing someone very well. If we don‘t know God well enough, we will not be confident enough to call upon Him and know that He will deliver us. Fear is what we will be filled with in times of trouble when we don't know Him. Love God and get to know Him. In both good and bad times, walk with Him, and He will be your deliverer when you need Him to be.

Confession: I fellowship with God and walk closely with Him on a daily basis.

Topic: THE SPIRIT—FILLED LIFE

[8] But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts of the Apostles 1:8 NLT

Read Acts 2:1-6

One of the secrets of the anointing is to practice the presence of God. In other words, stay full of the Spirit, stay connected. God needs his people on the earth to be his army in the last days to use the power of the Spirit to quench all the attacks of the enemy. The power within you is bigger than nuclear weapons because it raised Jesus from the dead and set him above all principalities and powers. Many of us are operating way below our installed capacities, and so we have power failure. You don't need more power if you are saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Rather, you need to stay connected to Him, become acquainted with the Holy Spirit, and live in His presence.
The devil is no match for a praying church that is yielded to the Holy Spirit, that lives in faith and walks in love.

Confession: I have the Holy Spirit, I stay yielded to Him, and I continually manifest His fruit.
