**BlueFin pre-release announcement** Tomorrow @iXsystems will release @TrueNAS SCALE 22.12 aka "Bluefin". As a conquence the following change has been made to our support policy: - Users disabling the "hostPath validation" setting, are not covered by our support.

**BlueFin Support** From today onwards @TrueNAS SCALE 22.12 aka "BlueFin" will be officially supported by us. While we will continue offering support for 22.02.4, support for it will be dropped completely starting 01-01-2023

**BlueFin Upgrade advisory 2** When updating to @TrueNAS SCALE Bluefin, please be sure to wait up-to 30 minutes after the post-update reboot. As the system might need some time to reinitialise the Applications after upgrade.

**BlueFin Update warning** Currently @TrueNAS SCALE 22.12 "Bluefin", inherently breaks both Backups and Migration. If you require those features, we suggest waiting for 22.12.1, due in februari. Due to this we've decided to delay dropping support for 22.02.4 to 01-03-2023.
