Episode 10: YOU Matter
mental health month — should be everyday and every second. but i guess it is a reminder every year that we always have to make space for others and also, ourselves ❤️
traintalks actually have 2 therapists under the Soluna Space initiative we came up with in 2023, and good news is — it is still going subhanAllah. I’m very very proud of you guys for taking this step and looking out for your own mental health.
for some of you who maybe still need a push, i hope this episode will do something for you inshaAllah 🩷
love always,
sofea ❤️

Sofea’s random late night thoughts - Special Edition 🌍🩺
Happy World Mental Health Day 💙
Key messages:
- Take some time today to reflect on your growth
- Emotions, ideally, need to be processed throughout the day. Suppressing them can lead to restlessness or disrupts sleep quality at night
- Express your emotions in a way that works for you (e.g., men uses emotional language that relates to their physicality)
- Prioritise your mental health
A challenge for YOU and I to try!
1️⃣ take at least one hour away from technological devices before bed
2️⃣ pick a day and do something unproductive (stop worrying, just relax)
3️⃣ connection to God, art and nature
4️⃣ spend time in solitude to recharge
5️⃣ take a break from responsibility (say NO, instead of YES when necessary — its not about running away, its about setting boundaries)
6️⃣ enjoy some time alone at home
*sometimes the most productive thing we can do is rest — i think we all owe that to ourselves 🩷

Episode 11: Qs About the World With My Best Friend (Part 1)
Welcome to a new little adventure I’m calling Sofea and Friends — because I thought it was time to add some extra flavour to my usual Sunday reflections 🌞✨
This episode was recorded in one sitting, but if you know anything about what happens when I’m with my best friend… the yapping never ends 😅 So here’s part one of what will likely be a whole mini-series of our chats
In this first part, we touch on my experience with heartbreak, and how it shaped my self-esteem and the way I see myself. I genuinely believe that healing happens when we can speak about the things that hurt, without pretending and without drowning in it. Somewhere in the ache, we find lessons — about life, about how fragile and beautiful we are, about the heart, and even about God. I don’t know if that makes sense, but I feel it deeply.

hi amazing team 🤍
i missed last weekend’s reflection but i thought i’d put my instagram on public for 24 hrs, and we can have a chat about this together.
hop on there cause I would love to read your thoughts and share with the wider community — my instagram is a very sacred and intimate space for me so this will be fun 🫶🏻

Episode 13: Quick Reflection
hey lovely friends,
welcome back to another random reflection!
i might be yapping away or go on a tangent in this video, but if anything, i want you to know that you are so incredibly loveable.
if you're in this season of 'waiting' - whether for love, opportunities, or answers - please don't doubt God's timing. this is the season where you get to elevate yourself, grow into who you're meant to be, and prepare to receive everything you've been dreaming of.
have an awesome week and i’ll catch ya later 🤍

Episode 14: All about self-worth
Approaching graduation has me in my feelings about worth, success, and the voices we choose to listen to. Tonight, I’m unpacking some truths about comparison, people-pleasing, and why your opinion of yourself is the only one that matters. And…..I have a personal message, a love letter if you will, to everyone who’s been part of my journey 🩷

Hi everyone,
Thank you for being part of Train Talks and for supporting the channel. After some thought, I’ve decided to close this chapter and step away for good. Life has taken me in a different direction, and I won’t be continuing with the channel.
A big thank you to Zarith for building this space together, and to all of you for being here. I truly appreciate the support.🩷
This isn’t the end of Train Talks though 🙇🏻♀️…Zarith will continue steering the channel forward. I’m excited to see where it goes next, and I hope you’ll keep supporting the journey.🩷
Wishing you all the very best,
T 🚂

I had the idea of filming my trip, but realised I did a terrible job—zero video clips, just photos of PowerPoint slides from the conference.
I've compiled what I have so I can look back and reflect on this journey toward (hopefully) becoming a psychologist in a few years.
I never thought at 23 I'd be sent by my company to a Muslim mental health conference (alhamdulillah for that!). Truthfully speaking, it was hard to find confidence in a room full of amazing professionals where I felt so small, but shifting my perspective and grounding myself in gratitude helped remind me why I'm here in the first place.
I'm planning a reflection video where I'll share the key findings, initiatives, and projects that stood out to me— but let me know if you would like me to share it!!!
