Update of the beta version of CScalp

On April 24th, 2024, we released an update for the CScalp beta. Let's briefly review the main changes.

We introduced the ability to trade orders less than $5 on Bybit. The standard exchange restriction for all traders is that orders with a volume of less than $5 cannot be placed. In the CScalp beta version, this is now possible.

We "fixed" proxies. Some users reported high pings when trading on cryptocurrency exchanges through proxies. We investigated the issue and fixed the error - now everything works as it should.

We also added stop orders for connecting to "Bitget: Futures" and worked on fixing bugs. More details about the beta were discussed here.

Found a bug in the beta? Please report it to support or leave a comment under this post.
CScalp Fix

CScalp Roadmap

We reached out to developers to share the roadmap for CScalp's development. They showed us their plan through the end of July 2024, and now we're sharing it with you!

Volume in $. We'll be adding the option to display volumes in the order book in $. This will allow you to switch between lots and $.

Clusters. We plan to enhance the display by adding the candle body and providing you with the ability to customize cluster colors.

Market orders. We'll be integrating market orders. Currently, limit orders are used for market orders, with execution depending on the throw range parameter. With market orders, execution won't be contingent on the throw range.

Our developers are already hard at work on these new features. We anticipate seeing updates in the CScalp beta soon.

Have suggestions for improving the terminal? Reach out to support - we're eager to hear from you.

CScalp Beta v2.0.21b: Market Orders and Cluster Customization

On June 11, 2024, we released the beta version of CScalp. The main update is the addition of market orders for connections to Binance, Bybit (excluding "Bybit: Spot"), and OKX.

Previously, limit orders were used for market trading commands and then "converted" to market orders. Now, direct market orders are used. The key difference is that you no longer need to configure the "slipping" parameter for trading instruments. Otherwise, the execution of market trading commands remains unchanged.

We also added the candle body and the ability to customize cluster colors, and we worked on bug fixes.

Join the beta testing! Together, we can quickly progress through this phase and release the new version of CScalp without any errors.

To participate in the testing, update via the beta launcher or download and install the beta version from scratch. We have thoroughly explained the beta version of CScalp and provided the download link here.

We look forward to your feedback on the beta under this post! If you find any errors, please contact support.

P.S.: The developers are also preparing to beta test the order book in $. Stay tuned for updates!
Hotfix for CScalp

On June 18, 2024, the Binance exchange updated its API. Due to this update, ticks and clusters on the "Binance: Spot" connection were displayed without color. We have made changes to the connection – everything now works correctly. Update CScalp through the Launcher to trade on the latest version of the terminal.

Please note that this update is only available for users with CScalp version 2.0.9 or higher.
What happens if your account gets blocked on an exchange?

You will lose information about your trades and transactions. This can happen on unregulated exchanges and with brokers for various reasons: jurisdictional restrictions, claims against the client, etc.

Another problem is the limited data retention period. Even without a block, you might lose access to old data. This is a risk for long-term traders.

The solution is an independent service for storing trading history. Connect keys from different exchanges and brokers, and all information will be securely stored in one place. You have full control over the data. Even if your account gets blocked or data is deleted on the exchange, it will remain accessible to you.

Release of CScalp v2.0.23: Market Orders and Cluster Customization

On 04.07.24, CScalp released an update. Here are the main changes.

Market orders have been implemented. Previously, only limit orders were used. When traders sent market orders, the terminal placed limit orders considering the "slipping" parameter. The execution of such orders was similar to regular market orders but required configuring the slippage for each trading instrument. Standard market orders are now available in CScalp, independent of the slippage parameter. Market orders are available on Bybit (except spot), Binance, OKX connections.

Clusters have been updated. We added a candle body for clusters, the ability to customize colors, and an “Amount” display mode.

We discussed the release in detail here.

We look forward to your feedback in the comments on this post. If you find an error, please report it to support.
CScalp Hotfix

We have fixed the chart issue on the "Finam: Connector" connection and the stop order issue on the "Binance: Spot" connection.

Update CScalp through the Launcher to trade on the latest version of the terminal.

Please note that the update is available for users with CScalp version 2.0.23 or higher.
Beta Version of CScalp: Order Book in $

On July 15, 2024, the beta version of CScalp was released, featuring an order book displayed in $. Now, the terminal offers two options for displaying volumes in the order book, the tape of trades, and clusters – in lots and in $. The order book in $ is available for all connections to Bybit, Binance, and OKX, including connections through Tiger.сom Broker, WL Capital, and Kinglab Crypto.

We have also implemented working volumes in $ for all connections to the OKX exchange. The working volumes option in $ on OKX is configured in the same way as on Bybit and Binance.

Trailing Stop in the Beta Version of CScalp

On August 15, 2024, we released the beta version of CScalp with Trailing Stop (TS) available for all cryptocurrency connections.

Trailing Stop is a tool for more flexible risk management. If a long position is open and the trading instrument is rising, TS will "move" the Stop-Loss higher. If a short position is open and the trading instrument is falling, TS will shift the Stop-Loss lower. This helps avoid situations where a position closes with unrealized profits. Additionally, Trailing Stop provides extra protection for your position: the closer the Stop-Loss is to the current market price, the lower the potential loss when closed by the stop order.

You can set the Trailing Stop manually or configure it to be automatically placed along with the Stop-Loss when opening a position. For more details on how TS works, read here.

Important for Bybit Traders! On August 31, the exchange will migrate Standard accounts to API V5. Therefore, we’ve updated the API for the "Bybit: Spot," "Bybit: USDT Perpetual" or "Bybit: Inverse Perpetual" connections. We need help testing the new API – if you find any bugs in the beta version, please contact support. The "Bybit: Unified" connection will not be affected by these changes.

Join the Beta Test! If you’ve already installed the Beta Launcher, start CScalp and update to the latest version. You can download the beta version here.

We look forward to your feedback on the beta in the comments below this post.

CScalp Roadmap Update

All the tasks from the summer roadmap have been completed! And even more – in August, CScalp introduced the Trailing Stop feature.

So, we asked the developers to share their plans for the fall. Here's what they told us:
We will implement the linking of spot and futures trading.
We will add leverage settings directly in the terminal, so you won't have to go to the exchange to adjust it.
We will increase the number of market depth windows and charts from 40 to 60.
We will add new connection to Binance portfolio margin

📣 Work on these new features is already underway – turn on notifications so you don't miss any updates!
