• You can easily set your wallet address for all domains in 🍒 My Domains section. If you want to add a separate address for specific domains, you can still do it in the domain settings.

• Fixed an issue with addresses containing ”_” symbol.

• The 🔍 Showcase section was added containing domains for sale. Unfortunately, we saw a lot of offers with six-figure prices that looked more like a spam. We will continue to work on optimizing this section.

• The section 🔥 Auction remains. Now it shows domains that are currently being traded — try to beat someone's bid 🎩

🎢 Summer Giveaway

One year ago, we launched a massive airdrop, allowing thousands of users to register domain names for free. Since then, we've accomplished a lot: we've introduced interactive payment pages, Telegram invoices, visual NFT collection, and extended support for TON Names, integrating it into MyTonWallet and the wider TON DNS system. Many of these additional features were not part of our initial plan, but we were more than happy to delight our users with this extended functionality.

🏦 Some of these enhancements, however, incurred additional costs on our end. For instance, we released two NFT collections instead of one, and the process of minting each item in a blockchain collection carries a cost for us as developers. As such, we asked our airdrop users to cover a small fee to mint their freely registered domains, helping us offset these development costs.

🎁 Now, as we celebrate the first anniversary of our initial airdrop, we're thrilled to announce a substantial discount for minting those previously registered free domains. From now until September 10, users can mint each domain for only 1 TON. And for those who own multiple domains, the price to mint all of them is capped at just 5 TONs.

We hope this will enable more users to reap the benefits of owning their NFT domains. As usual, you can mint your airdrop domains via our @TonNamesBot (choose “DNS NFT only” option).

😴 Dear users, our project is waking up after a long sleep.

👀 At the moment, we see that you have not minted a large part of the domains (as many as 4400 pieces). We assume that some of the domains you simply did not want to mint, some of them you will not return to, some of the accounts you have lost access to, etc.

🔍Since there are quite a lot of good domains among these, we want to conduct an analysis and identify the number of “no one’s” domains. It will be very sad if a large part of the domains will lie as dead weight, which no one will get. Perhaps, we will use them for large-scale activity (we will not disclose the details yet). We do not yet know how to do this correctly, if you have arguments against, then write in the comments.

🙏 For now, a request to everyone who is still with us - you need to do a simple action. Go to the bot @TonNamesBot and send the /start command or press any buttons (the main thing is that they work). So we will see that you have not disappeared and that you need your domains.

👋 Hello! In the previously conducted vote, with a slight margin, you chose the ticker NAME. However, a decision has been made to name it VIP after all, as we believe it has greater potential. Besides, there’s a suspicion that many simply clicked on the first option.

🥳 VIP Token has already been created. The first recipients will be the owners of VIP domains and MyTonWallet cards (formerly TON Names Cards). This will be one of the most substantial distributions, accounting for no less than 10% of the total issuance. NFTs must be minted (i.e., held in your wallet), so make sure to do that if you haven’t already.

🤫 Initially, I hesitated to share all the plans with you in advance. However, on the other hand, you have the right to know—you’ve been waiting for this for so long—so I’ll reveal the cards:

⛏ The next stage after the Airdrop is NFT mining. Yes, you heard that correctly. Several thousand of the coolest domains that are still unclaimed will be manually minted and distributed through mining. All the contracts for this are already written. Currently, you still have the opportunity to mint unregistered domains via dns.tonnames.org.

💰 All VIP NFTs will be exchangeable at a fixed rate for VIP tokens. This is done so that miners can immediately profit from them (since selling NFTs is not a quick process). There will be a daily limit on selling NFTs for tokens (to prevent the price from plummeting).

You’ll also be able to sell your existing NFTs for VIP tokens, even if they’re not particularly attractive.

⚙️ What you need:

- CPU miner (currently for Linux only)
- GPU miner (currently no support for MacOS Intel)
- Link to the giver to see which NFTs are currently available.
- A separate wallet (seed phrase) with TONs on the balance.
- Instructions for those who are completely new to this. Skip the steps about testnet.

🤷‍♂️ What should I do with these NFTs afterward?

And this is the most interesting part!

- Staking NFTs: For long-term holding of DNS NFTs (and not only that), you will receive rewards in the form of $VIP tokens.
- You will be able to use the utility they provide. Some features are still in development, but I won't reveal everything just yet.
- You will be able to lock in profits from mining. There will be a small marketplace where domains can be sold at a fixed price or bought. And this is coming very soon.

❓ Which NFTs are mined, and where does the list come from?

- I extracted all domains ever purchased from TON DNS, including their initial and final purchase prices.
- I selected those that were bought for more than 30 TON, as well as those without hyphens and no longer than 24 characters (since such domains are not allowed in our collection).
- I excluded 2816 already registered domains, resulting in 10633 domains available for mining.
- So, the most valuable names were chosen, which cost a significant amount of money in TON DNS, and you might even come across some top-tier ones.
- From these 10633 domains, I randomly select 100-300, mint them, and send them to the giver (when it has few remaining), for which I pay the commission myself.

ℹ️ And by the way...

Currently, the planned block time (1 NFT) is approximately 10 minutes. This means that on average, 144 NFTs will be mined per day.

With the addition of new people and capacities, the chance of mining an NFT will decrease. So, make sure to mine early.
