Millions of company directors must now verify their identity. The Government’s only free route uses One Login; the only way to avoid it usually means paying an authorised provider £60–£120

How voluntary is digital identity if you must pay not to use it?

1. An immediate freeze on One Login pending a genuinely independent review

2. Parliamentary scrutiny and proper safeguards

3. Free, genuinely equivalent non-digital alternatives
