VACCINE DAMAGE PAYMENT SCHEME:

Contrary to what is sometimes said, the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme is NOT a compensation scheme.

It provides a one-off payment only.

It does not replace earnings lost over the rest of someone’s life - or cover the continuing costs of care, treatment, rehabilitation, equipment or adapted housing.

🚨AI Facial Recognition Units spotted in Portsmouth recently

Where is the public consent?

Facial recognition cameras scan everyone who walks past

- No suspicion
- No consent
- No independent authorisation

Police should not be allowed to carry out mass biometric identity checks based only on their own internal approval

We must fight this #together

ONE LOGIN: "The whole infrastructure of a digital surveillance state is still there" (Alan Miller)

Scrapping the national Digital ID proposal was vital - at the same time, related platform One Login has quietly expanded across 200+ government functions, many of them obligations people must fulfil, rather than optional "services" - with more planned

We are calling for an immediate freeze on One Login pending independent National Audit Office review

There are serious security and civil liberties concerns

One Login needs scrutiny now - not after millions more people have been effectively forced or steered into it

If One Login is safe, necessary and properly governed, why resist an independent review?

A “social media ban for children” will ultimately mean ID checks for all of us before we can speak online.

Parents already have tools to protect their children. Children do not buy smartphones for themselves. Adults choose to provide devices and decide how they are used.

If a parent wants parental controls, they can enable them today.

There is nothing safe about a society where ordinary people must be identified, monitored, and recorded simply to participate

How voluntary is digital identity if the alternative is PAYING not to use it? Up to 8 million company directors and business owners are affected by new Companies House identity checks

The Government's "free" route pushes people towards GOV UK One Login - the only way to avoid it means using, and potentially paying, an authorised intermediary

Company Directors are the canaries in the coal mine, showing why we need a statutory non-digital guarantee: people must always have a free, genuinely equivalent alternative to government digital identity - without penalty, extra cost or poorer service

The Assisted Suicide Bill is back - and MPs have a first chance to vote on it on 11 September.

This is not a vote on the abstract principle of assisted dying, nor a vote merely to continue the debate. It is a vote on this specific Bill.

Lauren Edwards' draft is virtually identical to the 2024 Leadbeater Bill, which ran out of time under scrutiny in the House of Lords in April. It retains the same safeguarding flaws, loopholes and inherent dangers.

It is unsafe, undemocratic, and could not come at a worse time for the NHS, for hospices, for social care, and for people who cannot obtain the care they need.

CCTV is NOT the same as facial recognition technology

CCTV records what happens

Facial recognition scans people against a watchlist - automatically, at scale and usually without knowledge or choice

Police claim images are deleted, but this relies on trust in systems we can’t easily verify

Net Zero zealots are using city residents as guinea pigs.

Birmingham has announced plans to become a “20mph city” - but where do ideas like this come from?

Billionaire-backed networks such as C40 Cities help promote far-reaching Net Zero transport policies across urban government - including measures intended to reduce private-car use. Their influence can extend well beyond their formal membership as policies and targets spread from city to city.

Andy Burnham, as Mayor of Greater Manchester, signed a major C40 transport declaration.

His campaign to transfer still more power to regional mayors should be examined in that wider context: policies never clearly put to voters in a national manifesto can be introduced locally, often with limited public debate or parliamentary scrutiny.
