From protests and rallies to leaflets to MP contacts to media to events to social media - we've pushed back hard against Digital ID up and down the UK

Let's keep pushing #together
Scrapping the official Digital ID scheme is only the first step

We must also stop other government systems like One Login evolving into Digital ID in all but name, through expansion, function creep or the loss of offline alternatives

We can make a difference #together

What can Company Directors who want to AVOID the Government’s “One Login” system do?

One Login is steadily bringing more personal information into one place

Where this is heading needs to be properly set out to Parliament

People deserve clarity on what kind of national system is being built in their name

#OneLogin
ONE LOGIN:

As it stands, you can delete your One Login - but that doesn’t mean all associated records disappear

Some audit information is retained for up to seven years, while government departments may continue to hold their own records

People deserve to know clearly what is held, by whom, why and for how long - and what they can delete or control

Ofcom’s current annual funding "£233m for 2026/27, up from £227m in 2025/26"

Ofcom has become a huge bureaucracy employing more than 1,600 people, many of them thinking all day about how our speech online should be policed and regulated

That is an extraordinary concentration of power over speech - and it deserves far more scrutiny

"Tony Blair wants to build upon One Login"

- Andrew Orlowski

We are calling for an immediate freeze on One Login pending independent National Audit Office review - no further rollout or expansion until safeguards are in place, no expansion without parliamentary oversight, and a firm guarantee that digital identity is never mandatory and non-digital routes to government interactions are always protected.

Facial recognition is moving into London Underground stations.

British Transport Police say facial-recognition data belonging to innocent people is quickly deleted.

But you have no practical way to check whether your scan was deleted, copied or used elsewhere.

We are simply expected to trust the system.

Mass biometric identity checks should not become a routine condition of travelling around.

There is no proper democratic mandate for the scale of what is now planned.

Tell your MP: stop the facial recognition rollout 👇

VACCINE DAMAGE PAYMENT SCHEME: "People are on the verge of losing their homes… I have gone into debt"

Musician Vikki Spit; husband died from Covid jab

BBC News framing here is wrong, if not actively dishonest:

1) VDPS is NOT compensation!

Support is capped at a one-off payment, with no further provision for future needs. Similarly, where a vaccine injury results in death, the scheme does not compensate a family for the loss of a loved one’s future earnings or the long-term financial support they would otherwise have provided

2) "Available to anyone disabled as a result of a vaccine" - NO - only if "60% disabled" - and 99% of claims denied / delayed

VDPS must be reformed
ONE LOGIN:

If One Login suffers a major failure, millions could be left unable to access essential services and state obligations

A credible backup system, including offline alternatives, is essential so people are not locked out of services they rely on

Has resilience been properly tested at national scale?

USA: "Rogue police officers turned nationwide Flock camera network into tool for stalking"

"Flock’s array of license-plate cameras was built to fight crime, but at least 50 law enforcement officers were charged with or accused of misusing it and other systems"

We're told we shouldn't fear surveillance tech if we've "nothing to hide" - but what about those in power with something to abuse?
Sainsbury's has suspended its live facial recognition technology at one of its London branches after a customer "wrongly challenged and thrown out of store"

"What upset me was thinking this is what the future could be – people just listen to what the machine tells them to do without thinking about the consequences," said victim Matt Arnold

"The issue with calling a majority of the British public people 'far right', is it loses any sense of meaning" (Alan Miller)

Instead of resorting to name-calling, we should discuss ideas and address concerns, from all viewpoints

That’s how society progresses

If you’re interested in censorship-resistant social media, take a look at Nostr.

It’s an open protocol rather than a company-owned platform. Your identity belongs to you, posts are cryptographically signed, and they can be published through multiple independent servers (“relays”). If one relay bans you or disappears, you can switch to others without losing your identity or audience.

It’s a simple idea with potentially huge implications for online freedom: https://nostr.how/en/get-started

Digital ID "wasn't in our manifesto"

No, it wasn't was it, Lucy Powell?!

Nor was allowing One Login, the GOV UK App and Government Wallet to become Digital ID in all but name through expansion, function creep or the erosion of offline alternatives
We must keep pushing #together
