TOMORROW, OXFORD: Protest against damaging "Low Traffic Neighbourhoods"

County Hall, Oxford 1030-1130am outside council meeting

To tell Oxfordshire County Council:
No to delayed buses & ambulances
No to diverted traffic
No to greater pollution
No to more wrecked local businesses
No to LTNs!
Instead of admitting that Net Zero is a mad target the world’s leaders are pressing on

They will fail, but the damage they are doing right now will cost all of us dearly

It's up to us

"LTNs in Oxford cause ‘chronic’ gridlock & ‘exasperatingly’ slow bus journeys"

"Report by travel companies reveals it is often quicker to walk into city centre than take bus"

It's time to end this failed experiment
Teachers in schools are telling kids that 250 years of industrial development & fossil fuels are making the world uninhabitable, but the opposite is true

Modern industry and farming are not killing us - they are keeping us alive

"The sad fact is our once liberal societies are no longer liberal... we live in a deeply illiberal society that punishes people for expressing heretical thoughts"

Full speech here from Dr Jay Bhattacharya at our 2nd Anniversary Event - including how censorship and smears driven by govt
Net Zero policies underpin anti-driver policies like "15 Minute Cities", LTNs, CAZs, LEZs, ULEZ extension in London & blanket 20mph zones

The intent is to make driving so painful & so expensive, ordinary members of the public have to stop doing it

No to all that

No to Net Zero

Ferguson is certainly culpable for lockdowns disaster

A failure of "The Science" (if modelling is even that)

But buck must stop with politicians

They first caved to the hysteria Fergie (in the end, just an advisor) played key role in creating

Then they realised they could use the fear to control the public in ways they never previously dreamed, and got a taste for it

What Covid Inquiry SHOULD be concluding is that our own Public Health Act needs major reform

And we should be running a million miles from any World Health Organization playbook that positions lockdowns & other extreme measures as the "go to"

OXFORD LTNs: "It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that if you shut off side streets, all the traffic goes on to main roads.

"This is not what councils should be doing, they should be getting basics right"
CENSORSHIP: Social networks, Govt officials, universities & NGOs "using 'disinformation' claims to silence free speech, 136 academics, historians & journalists warn PM Rishi Sunak" with #WestminsterDeclaration

"Figures from all sides of the political spectrum, including comedian John Cleese, author Jordan Peterson and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, raised concerns over the “censorship of ordinary people, journalists and dissidents” in a statement delivered to the Prime Minister.

"Their intervention comes after The Telegraph revealed that a secretive government unit was flagging criticism of lockdown as Covid “disinformation”.

"The Counter Disinformation Unit, which operated out of Whitehall, worked with intelligence agencies to monitor the online posts of journalists and members of the public...

"Their “Westminster Declaration” said: “We are all deeply concerned about attempts to label protected speech as ‘misinformation’, ‘disinformation’, and other ill-defined terms.

"“What’s more, time and time again, unpopular opinions and ideas have eventually become conventional wisdom. Free speech is our best defence against disinformation.

"“By labelling certain political or scientific positions as ‘misinformation’ or ‘malinformation,’ our societies risk getting stuck in false paradigms that will rob humanity of hard-earned knowledge and obliterate the possibility of gaining new knowledge.”

"The signatories expressed alarm over the widespread use of such terms, adding: “We do not want our children to grow up in a world where they live in fear of speaking their minds.”...

"The 136 signatories also included the writer Richard Dawkins, the historian Robert Tombs and the American whistleblower Edward Snowden, who warned of “increasing international censorship that threatens to erode centuries-old democratic norms”. They said this included “visibility filtering, labelling, and manipulation of search engine results” as well as “deplatforming and flagging” of controversial content.

“Social media censors have already silenced lawful opinions on topics of national and geopolitical importance,” they wrote."

CENSORSHIP: “States & NGOs are acting in tandem to stifle dissent, tech companies & Govts are working behind the scenes to censor people for lawfully held opinions & facts”

Well done Laura Dodsworth making case for free expression and against state-sponsored censorship

The so-called “militant democracy” spiel of Paul Mason is creepy & worrying indeed

Is Bristol Council backtracking on promised "consultation"?
