This is Tara Hawkins who was forced out of her shop in Myddleton Road, Haringey by "Low Traffic Neighbourhood."

In previous video she said: "We have 68 shops here, 75% of those surveyed looking to close or relocate within 18 months due to LTN.

"The council wrecked the business model overnight - with no consultation."

Petition with 17,000 signatures against just presented to Haringey Council - are they listening?

Cycling lobby group Sustrans was paid £200,000 by Haringey Council for a Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) 'consultation' that did not even speak to businesses - before the LTN "turned a historic independent high street into a ghost town."

Sustrans is used in many of the ‘consultations’ that don’t engage or listen to majority of residents.

"Freedom of information documents seen by The Telegraph show that Haringey Council has spent more than £960,000 on its three LTN schemes. Almost 58,000 fines had been issued to motorists in Haringey’s LTN zones as of Nov 28, meaning the council collected at least £3.7 million."

Sustrans is registered as a charity - and not so long ago was hiring for 'interim executive director' on £95,000/yr salary for 37.5 hrs/wk

It's ridiculous that Sustrans keep showing up getting huge fees for ‘consultations’ that seem to exclude local business & residents
