▪️இன்று (8 பிப்ரவரி 2026) நடக்க வேண்டிய Group II & IIA Main Exam தேர்வுகள் இரண்டும் முழுவதுமாக ரத்தாகி, மறு தேர்வு தேதி குறிப்பிடாமல் ஒத்தி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

🔻 காரணங்கள்:
தொழில் நுட்பக் கோளாறு.

➖ Even though the exam itself is offline OMR, the technical issue was in the software used for centre and candidate allocation.

➖ TNPSC Mismanagement.

🔻 அப்படி என்னென்ன தொழில் நுட்பக் கோளாறுகள்? அதனால் நடந்த குளறுபடிகள் என்னென்ன ?

1️⃣ Hall ticket–centre mismatch: ❌

▪️Exam centre allocation software wrongly mapped candidates to centres.

2️⃣ Wrong centre allocation - overcrowded: ❌

▪️Candidates were shown an incorrect centre in their hall tickets.

▪️In Chennai, candidates meant for multiple colleges were all allotted a single centre (e.g., DG Vaishnav College).

▪️Nearly 1,000 candidates reported to centres with seating capacity of only ~300.

3️⃣ Candidates’ Reg.Number Missing: ❌

▪️At some venues, candidates’ registration numbers were missing from centre lists.

4️⃣ Candidates' Entry denied: ❌

▪️Eligible candidates with valid hall tickets were denied entry to write the exam.

5️⃣ Irresponsible TNPSC Officials: ❌

▪️TNPSC activated the hall-ticket download link on 30 January on its official websites.

▪️Candidates had nearly 9–10 days before the 8 February mains exam.

▪️Despite this window, TNPSC officials failed to verify centre allocations and candidate lists.

6️⃣ Administrative Negligence: ❌

▪️No cross-checking or field-level validation was done before the exam date.

▪️TNPSC unnoticed the Errors in hall tickets and centre mapping until the real exam date.

▪️The failure reflects administrative negligence, not a last-minute issue.

▪️Candidates suffered due to lack of accountability and quality checks by TNPSC.

GS paper: Question bundle seal appeared broken; candidates alleged pre-opening.

Tamil paper: Booklet–roll number mismatch caused a 15–90 minute delay at centres in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, and Avadi.

Booklets were taken back after the exam had started and redistributed to other candidates, even though some candidates had already written in them.
