TLC Policy: Maximum of Three Authors per Paper

Dear contributors,

Please be advised that TLC allows no more than three authors per article. This policy is in place to ensure clarity, accountability, and integrity in authorship.

▫️ Why is there a limit?▫️
• It ensures that each contributor has made a substantial contribution to both the research and writing process.
• It allows for clear attribution of responsibilities and prevents disputes over contributions.
• It helps maintain a focused and coherent perspective in the paper, reducing the risk of conflicting viewpoints.
• It discourages honorary or guest authorship, where individuals are credited despite minimal involvement.

▫️ Why three authors?▫️
In Social Sciences and Arts & Humanities, three authors are typically sufficient for a well-rounded study. Unlike medical research, where large teams are common, a smaller number of authors ensures better coherence and accountability.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter. If you need further assistance or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at tlcjournal@rudn.ru. We are here to help you through the submission process!
