Anybody interested in building or buying a solar generator? I can say this if you want something that can power a cpap machine over night if power is out, or a refrigerator you can probably do it for not too much and not need to worry about loud gas generator, but you will need some solar panels probably 2 200 watt panels and a good lithium iron phosphate battery. If you are only powering a cpap or fridge, but the more you do the more solar panels you need, the bigger battery you need. You need a solar charge controller, plus an inverter. I can link to some videos that I watched to learn, my system cost more than most as I went for it to power fridge, freezer, and cpap machine. That went 14 hours without using any solar during day, I wanted to see how long the battery would go with all 3 things plugged in.
