โข The most effective way to change your habits is to focus not on what you want to achieve, but on who you wish to become.
โข Your identity emerges from your habits. Every action is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.
โข Becoming the best version of yourself requires continuously editing your beliefs and upgrading and expanding your identity.
โข The real reason habits matter is not just because they can yield better results (though they can), but because they can transform your beliefs about yourself.

In one of our project management courses, we discussed success metrics and criteria.One principle that especially caught my attention was known as
Our discussions often revealed a common trend: we become so focused on achieving specific metrics that we sometimes lose sight of the overarching goals.
For instance, imagine a school that measures success by the number of students passing standardized tests. Teachers might prioritize test taking strategies over actual learning, leading to a generation skilled in exams but lacking deeper understanding.
Similarly, consider someone aiming to lose weight. If the sole metric of success is a lower number on the scale, they might resort to unhealthy methods like crash diets or even surgery, rather than adopting sustainable, healthy habits.
This got me thinking: How do we measure success in our own lives? Do we focus on the metrics or the meaningful progress towards our goals?
๐ฏ Here are a few reflective questions for you:

Why Winners Choose the Right Game to Play...
Boiling water can soften a potato or harden an egg. This shows that while we can't always control our environment, we can choose our response.
You cannot control whether you are a potato or an egg, but you can decide to play a game where itโs better to be hard or soft. Research in psychology suggests that adaptability is key to resilience.
If we find a more favorable environment, we can transform a situation from one where the odds are against us to one where they are in our favor. This aligns with the idea from ๐ถ๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐ค๐๐๐'๐ work on mindset: b๐ฒ ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐๐ญ, ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ.

Dear All,
Greetings from MoE,
We are excited to inform you about the government's new initiative, "5 Million Ethiopian Coders," launched with the support of partners. This initiative aims to provide free access to ICT-related courses through the Udacity platform, known for its high-quality, in-depth courses in programming, data science, artificial intelligence, and more.
Students and teachers can take advantage of this unique opportunity to enroll in these courses at no cost, which would otherwise be significantly expensive in USD. By participating in this program, our education community can enhance their skills and become highly competitive in the global market. The ultimate goal is not just to complete the courses but to achieve certification from Udacity, which is recognized by international organizations and can greatly enhance career prospects.
To facilitate access, we have prepared step-by-step guidelines and a video tutorial on how to register on the system and enroll in the courses. Please share this valuable information widely within your community through available media channels (email, social media, website, etc.) so that students and teachers can benefit from it, especially during the summer break.
This is a tremendous opportunity for personal and professional growth, and we encourage everyone to take full advantage of it.
This is the video link we prepared, and we have also attached the PDF guidelines:

In the wake of Meta's #GenAI model Llama 3.1 release, which has comparable performance to GPT-4 virtually for free, AI battles have erupted to the next level!
According to reports, #OpenAI may lose $5 billion this year and will run out of funds in 12 months unless it raises extra funding from investors.
OpenAI, the world's most valuable AI startup, allegedly spent $4 billion this year on cloud infrastructure alone and may spend another $3 billion or more on model training, despite the company's yearly sales of roughly $3.4 billion. If this stays the same, it just cannot survive.
As stated by industry practitioners, Meta's open-source Llama 3.1 model not only offers GPT-4 performance for almost free, but it also allows for self-training of smaller, specialized models, adding to the intense AI rivalry. #AI #Llama

just super curious โ how many of you are developers here? Or maybe you're not? Let me know!
Since most of you are developers, why don't we host a simple competition where everyone showcases their portfolio website and we select a winner? Let's get inspired by each other and show off our skills.
I donโt have a big budget, but we can split $1k among the top 3 winners, or give it all to one winner. (1k birr not dollar ๐)
To participate, you can send me a link to your portfolio, some screenshots, the tech-stack you used, and a rough estimate of how long it took you to complete. A little description about yourself and what you do, along with a username would also be great. Iโll provide more details on what to submit and how.
The winner will be chosen based on the highest number of likesโonly likes will count to keep it simple. Iโll also share the rules to make sure everythingโs clear.
What do you think? I just thought this could be fun. If you're interested, give a like to this post or comment so I know youโre in!

Hey folks! I know this might seem like an odd post, but I was inspired by the "3 Body Problem" series and wanted to share something interesting.
In classical mechanics, predicting the position of an object in a gravitational system can get really tricky. Itโs not just about applying Newton's laws of gravitation based on distance and current velocity. The real challenge comes from the fact that our measurements arenโt perfect theyโre just approximations.
Because of these inaccuracies, even small changes can lead to wildly different results, making the system appear random and chaotic. This phenomenon is known as the "N-body problem."
If want to explore this check out this link: N-body Problem Choreography and Why Do Exact Equations Become Unpredictable?

I just completed a four-day intensive training session at Awash Bank S.C. for the Tatariwochu project. Next week, I'm preparing to pitch my idea. If all goes well, I hope to advance to Round 3, where eight finalists will be selected and awarded. Wish me luck!โฆ
By the way, I didnโt make it to the third round. ๐
I was hoping to at least crack the top 20 and maybe get something out of it. I knew I wasnโt going to win the 5 million, but I was hoping for at least some smaller prize. Anyway, hereโs the message I received, and I forgot to update you
So, no prize money this time, but Iโve got a good story and plenty of motivation to keep going. Thanks for all your support, and hereโs to better luck next time!

just a curious thought assume being dead is like moving in the x direction, and being alive is moving in the y direction.
So, if we're moving along the x-axis, we're dead; if we're moving along the y-axis, we're alive. Simple, right? Just an assumption.
But here's the twist: what if we're moving in a direction that's 45 degrees from the x-axis? Wait, what? We're moving in both the x and y directions at the same time, so are we alive or dead?
Itโs like weโre both dead and alive simultaneously kind of like superposition in quantum physics. But Iโll just call it life. Thatโs how I feel sometimes dead and alive at the same time. ๐ Just kidding! But seriously, superposition is a tough concept to understand and explain. I might not even be talking about it ๐
but if so am still talking about it. what does that mean? Either way, Iโm talking about it. ๐ค This is weird.

but if so am still talking about it. what does that mean? Either way, Iโm talking about it. ๐ค This is weird.
