I made this quick graphic to illustrate why I believe two drastically different groups (Marxists and Nationalists) can identify the same mechanism, but how Marxists completely fail to understand it.
That mechanism being the concept that if a people are fighting amongst themselves on the basis of race/ethnicity, then they are distracted from their true enemies, which are the government and financial elite.
The Marxist looks at this concept with the presumption that multi-racial countries are natural, and it's the divisions that cause inter-ethnic conflict that are imposed by the state. In reality, those conflicts are a natural biproduct of people serving their in-group interests in a multi-racial state, and it's that state itself that is imposed by the elites with the knowledge that natural conflict will ensue.

It's the political equivalent of trying to do a D-Day landing with five guys dressed in clown suits and armed with water guns. You are literally attacking the system at its strongest defenses.

If you're really serious about NS: What would Hitler himself tell you to do? Not this counterintuitive, self-defeating shit, that's for sure. He said "it is not truth that matters but victory." Bismarck similarly said "politics is the art of the possible."
IRL Politics is not the same as online redpills targeted to an audience of higher IQ and generally freer-thinking people. Optics, branding, marketing, strategy -- all of these things are incredibly important. They're probably more important now than ever before, since the stakes are so high.
That being said, online redpilling can also be done effectively and ineffectively; something ridiculous and over the top, like Smoloko for example, just comes across as insane and is easily rejected.
I realize the irony of this post coming from someone with "Thule" in their username but my optics and branding aren't good and I never intended to have a bigger audience than my few hundred Twitter buddies. If I was more creative I would've thought of something better already.
Anyway, the entire point of dissident RW politics is to NORMALIZE dissident RW opinions (which are, in reality, the historically normal opinions held by 99.999% of people who ever lived). You can't NORMALIZE something by branding it as something that is viewed by most people (including people who agree with you) as the most radically ABNORMAL thing possible.

The Anglosphere was more racist than Germany before WW2 ended.

Both of those things require at least SOME degree of support from either existing elites who dislike the current hegemony or the masses who feel that they're somehow materially disadvantaged or oppressed by the current hegemony.
Fundamentally, any IRL political activities, regardless of what you're doing, should be mostly defensible to average right-wing people, 99% of whom dislike what's going on with immigration, LGBT stuff, corporate slavery, etc. Their distain for these things is totally normal and should be propagandized as such.
Openly advocating NS IRL today is the equivalent of calling yourself a devil worshipper in the 1500s. Most people — even those who would agree with 95% of it if it was simply sold to them with different branding — don't want to be associated with it and, more importantly, they won't defend it. Nationalists need to be a lot more clearpilled and Machiavellian if we ever hope to succeed.
