At the end of the day, Trump presided over four of the worst years in history for the American right. Between 2016 and 2021:

- The White percentage of the US declined by ~2%.

- Christianity declined by 5%.

- Big tech censorship went from an unheard of concept to a cold hard reality.

- Public opinion on immigration flipped from the majority wanting it decreased to the majority wanting it increased.

- Conservative opinions about LGBT became much more positive (40% approved of gay marriage in 2016, 50% in 2020).

- Left wing NGOs and media outlets that were failing got second winds (and are now declining again).

Would many of these things still have happened without Trump? Probably. But one thing is for sure, his presidency certainly did nothing to stop any of it. If Trump tries to run again in 2024, I will oppose him.

I made this quick graphic to illustrate why I believe two drastically different groups (Marxists and Nationalists) can identify the same mechanism, but how Marxists completely fail to understand it.

That mechanism being the concept that if a people are fighting amongst themselves on the basis of race/ethnicity, then they are distracted from their true enemies, which are the government and financial elite.

The Marxist looks at this concept with the presumption that multi-racial countries are natural, and it's the divisions that cause inter-ethnic conflict that are imposed by the state. In reality, those conflicts are a natural biproduct of people serving their in-group interests in a multi-racial state, and it's that state itself that is imposed by the elites with the knowledge that natural conflict will ensue.
