The mainstream narrative on WW2 claims that the Germans were "evil" because they were dictatorial, racist, practiced eugenics, committed genocide, and aimed for world domination. If we put our Libtard Historian hats on and judge by these five characteristics alone, then the Allies were collectively just as "evil" as the Nazis.

1. Dictatorship:
While most Allied nations were ostensibly democratic, the USSR was certainly more totalitarian than Nazi Germany, and Hitler was democratically elected, unlike Stalin and the Bolsheviks.

2. Racism:
Every country was racist during WW2, except the USSR which was systemically anti-racist. The US was segregated and had plenty of anti-Semitism. 90% of Americans said they would rather lose WW2 than give equality to Blacks. The UK had subjugated half of the non-White world and UK law restricted Jewish immigration before, during, and after WW2.

3. Eugenics:
Britain pioneered modern eugenics; it was practiced by governments across the West for decades before and after the Second World War. Some aspects of eugenics continue to this day, with voluntary euthanasia, gene editing, abortion of the disabled, and even sterilization.

4. Genocide:
Even if we disregard the history of America, the British Empire, and the ~15-20 million people killed by the USSR under Stalin's reign alone, the Allies forcibly expelled ~15 million German civilians after WW2 and killed ~4 million, ~1.5 million of whom were intentionally starved to death in Eisenhower's camps.

5. World domination:
The British Empire controlled ~25% of the world and governed ~20% of its population. The USSR aimed to create a Communist world government (even under Stalin) and conquered countless nations across Eurasia. Finally, the Allies did create a world government via the United Nations (but that's okay because it's "democratic").

"Every side in WW2 was evil" is Libtard History taken to its natural conclusion. As the West becomes browner and WW2 becomes a more distant memory, this narrative will steadily supplant the classic "good versus evil" narrative.

The Xin Dynasty is an interesting but lesser known example of this. It was founded by a guy called Wang Mang, who was the nephew of an empress of the Han Dynasty. He was born into the elite, but lacked the power, titles, and status of his fellow clan members. He meritocratically climbed the ranks until he was eventually made regent of the child emperor Ping.

He created a personality cult by getting his influential friends to invent fake prophecies about himself, claiming to be a reincarnation of various great and mythic men, while exiling and killing off his rivals. He soon poisoned Ping and became emperor.

He immediately abolished property, redistributed land, monopolized all major industries, abolished slavery, and introduced a bunch of new taxes. He was deposed a decade later because his dumb economic policies caused rampant corruption and imploded the country.

In her study, they found four outlier samples from the Iron Age / Roman Republic: Some Greeks and a Punic.

Of the ~40 published Iron Age Etruscan samples to date, there are five outliers: Three Punics, one central European, and somebody with mixed Italian/Armenian-related ancestry.

Are we supposed to believe that a few Greeks (probably from Magna Graecia) and some Punic merchants were instrumental in the rise of the Roman Empire? What a ridiculous claim.

Edit: It turns out the individual they modeled as having "mixed Italian/Armenian-related ancestry" (sample MAS001) was just somebody from the Balkans with slightly more CHG and steppe ancestry than native central Italians. This is exactly what I'm talking about! Academics are crooks.
