German newspaper Junge Freiheit has reported that he was attacked with some sort of needle or syringe, possibly poisoned.

AfD is currently polling as the second largest party in Germany.

Even Germany's own intelligence service has attacked AfD.

After a recent election in Thuringia, where AfD were successful, the authorities reported they would attempt to overturn the election to keep AfD out.
