It may still be possible that Corded Ware was a direct offshoot of Yamnaya, but all of the available evidence indicates that this is not the case.

I personally don't have a dog in this fight. I'm a big Yamnaya and Corded Ware fan, but a lot of Libtard geneticists choose to focus on Yamnaya, because they like to claim (or imply) that the Yamnaya were "foreign swarthy eastern invaders who turned Neolithic Europe into BLACKED[dot]com."

This obviously is not the case. Their closest living relatives are Eastern Europeans, like Russians, and their pigmentation was probably similar to Serbians or Chechens or something like that — white skin, predominantly dark hair, some blue eyes but mostly brown.

The earliest Greek invaders were genetically similar to modern central Europeans, with around half Western Steppe Herder (PIE) ancestry.

However, by the Mycenaean age, it seems that ancient Greeks' WSH/PIE ancestry had been diluted significantly to around 10% on average. As per current evidence, modern Greeks have more WSH ancestry than Mycenaeans.
