I was setting up my library and couldn’t pass without recommending this book. The title might lure you into thinking it’s just about hacking, but it actually teaches you how computers really work. It covers memory layouts, how data moves through memory while your application is running, how the operating system handles your program, and how to debug applications effectively. Honestly, this book is one of the reasons it took me very little time to understand Rust and truly appreciate how it works and which problems it is designed to solve.

On top of that, you also learn about networking, sockets, and cryptography, including their common pain points.
