پله ها در پيش رويم ، يک به يک ديوار شد
زير هر سقفی که رفتم ، بر سرم آوار شد
خرق عادت کردم اما بر عليه خويشتن
تا به گرد گردنم پيچد ، عصايم مار شد
اژدهای خفتهای بود ، آن زمين استوار
زير پايم ناگه از خواب قرون ، بيدار شد
مرغ دستآموز خوشخوان کرکسی شد لاشهخوار
و آن غزال خانگی برگشت و گرگی هار شد
گل فراموشی و هر گلبانگ ، خاموشی گرفت
بس که در گلشن ، شبيخون خزان ، تکرار شد
تا بياويزند از اينان ، آرزوهای مرا
جا به جا در باغ ويران هر درختی دار شد
