The unbanked were supposed to be left behind. Onchain, they may now have a head start.
At The (un)Banked by INPUT Global in Amsterdam, leaders from banking, payments, venture and crypto unpacked what happens as TradFi moves onto stablecoin and tokenized rails.
The main takeaways:
β’ Regulation is becoming infrastructure
β’ Stablecoin settlement is moving into real business use
β’ Users care about speed, cost and ease β not the chain underneath
β’ Institutional capital increasingly sees onchain finance as core infrastructure
The two systems are converging. The only real question is how fast.

MENA entered the quarter with real momentum, then war forced cancellations and postponements across the region.
Meanwhile, the agenda shifted toward AI, stablecoins, and payments. And while the usual βWeb3 is deadβ takes kept circulating, hackathons remained full of builders testing ideas and launching new projects.

Ethereum turns 11 today.
Since mainnet launched on July 30, 2015, it has kept producing blocks, built the largest developer ecosystem in crypto and become home to much of DeFi, stablecoins and tokenized assets.
Its growth is visible offline too: Devcon and Devconnect, ETHGlobal hackathons, community conferences, builder houses and local meetups now bring Ethereum people together across the world.
Happy birthday, Ethereum. Weβll keep mapping where the next chapter happens.
