简单来说,常理看来,多数人应该会向强关系倾诉,因为吐露秘密需要一定的信任作为基础。但倾诉隐私也存在风险,可能带来更大的社会性危机,甚至「人间失格」。人们更愿意在弱关系中寻求帮助。所以,当你的同学、同事、室友向你倾诉关于隐私问题时,不要误以为你们的关系很亲近,反而很可能正是因为关系(或是对未来关系发展的期望)没有那么亲密,才更愿意敞开心扉。
另一个原因也是纽约时报这篇文章的重点,即亲密关系成员往往并不认真倾听。拜新型冠状病毒所赐,我在过去一个月中深刻体会到了这一点。
