Migration policy in Meloni's government boils down to "out of sight, out of mind".

Outsourcing asylum policy to third countries is wrong and will never deliver stable, long-term solutions.

Bilateral agreements undermine the EU's shared responsibility for migration and asylum.

There is no justification for bombing hospitals, attacking refugee camps, destroying schools. These are war crimes.

Netanyahu’s government acts as if Hamas was the entire Palestinian population to justify the collective punishment of the people of Gaza. The Israeli government should also refrain from undermining the role of the UN and its Secretary General, António Guterres.

The EU's credibility is at stake. We have a moral obligation to act now to end innocent deaths in Gaza, free the Israeli hostages, allow a humanitarian ceasefire for safe and unimpeded access to humanitarian aid from Egypt, and lead an international peace conference that provides a just and lasting solution for both Israeli and Palestinian people based on the two-state solution.

Gender based violence is a global pandemic. Women are constantly attacked, assaulted, or murdered for the mere fact of being women.

It is time for an ambitious EU law that makes it clear that sex without consent is rape. Only yes means yes.

We are shocked to hear the news of Alexei Navalny's death. The 2021 Sakharov Prize winner was imprisoned in one of Russia’s notorious penal colonies. He was there for unjustified and purely politically motivated reasons.

The strong cooperation between NATO and the 🇪🇺 Union is critical, particularly now, in the face of Russia's war of aggression.

51% of Europeans voted in this year’s EU elections. The highest turnout since 1994 (56%).

This gives us – the largest progressive group in the 🇪🇺 Parliament – a strong mandate to continue our fight for a Europe of solidarity, equality and fairness!
