It’s official, Narendra Modi will be sworn in as Prime Minister for a 3rd consecutive term on Sunday (9 June) at 6 pm.
The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) stands at 293 after Tuesday’s result whereas the Opposition’s INDIA bloc is at 234 seats.

✅ Eminent wildlife field biologists and pioneers of wildlife conservation in the Country, A.J.T. Johnsingh passed away in Bengaluru on Friday after a brief illness. He was 78.
✅ His pioneering work in elephants in the early 1980s was instrumental for the Government of India to formulate Project Elephant. He also conducted an international conference bringing elephant experts across the world to Mudhumalai wildlife sanctuary.

Four Indian students who were studying at the Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University located in Veliky Novgorod, Russia, drowned in an unfortunate incident in the Volkhov river.
