Hey everyone, Kind Hearts!

We kindly ask you not to use alt or side accounts in giveaway. We see you 👀
Be real with yourselves first. And once again everyone who participated with integrity will receive a reward 💰

Also got a bunch of emails asking about virtual volunteer hubs in other capitals. We hear you. It’s already in the works part of the upgrade for current centers. If you’ve seen the grayed out Improve button - that’s part of the next update ❤️

Got questions or wild ideas? Throw them in the chat. We’re all ears.

Hey everyone Kind Hearts! ❤️

🤬 Last week we faced multiple waves of spam over 3,500 fake reports of homeless animals. Most included promotional images, some even carried political slogans.

😠 Per our Terms of Use, our verification system automatically blocked all these false markers and the accounts behind the attack were permanently banned.

❗️ We’re now considering adding CAPTCHA either triggered during suspicious activity or enabled permanently when creating a new animal marker, to prevent similar attacks.

In any case those behind this campaign whatever malicious intent they may have had failed to achieve their goal. On our end, we successfully passed our first real stress test thanks to their attack.

Hey everyone Kind Hearts! ❤️

🥺 As temperatures drop below zero across many regions, we’d like to kindly remind our users - please stay especially attentive to homeless animals in your vicinity.

We encourage you to review our in-app winter care guidelines including step-by-step instructions for building warm, insulated shelters for cats and dogs using simple, accessible materials. If possible, dedicate one weekend day to assembling a few mini shelters and place them near your home or office. Remember to check them regularly for structural integrity and moisture to prevent mold, straw is the safest bedding (more details in our in-app FAQ).

❤️ And don’t forget to share these efforts with friends and fam.

🖥 Over the past two months, we’ve intensively refined our image verification pipeline - specifically to combat the rising number of malicious uploads violating ethical standards and overloading our identification system.

🐱 We’ve now fully upgraded the algorithm, added a CAPTCHA triggered by suspicious activity, and tightened enforcement:

❗️ Severe violations (e.g., cruel, illegal, NSFW or deeply unethical content) ➡️ permanent, immediate ban.
❗️ Promotional/spam images ➡️ warning issued, account remains active.
❗️ Blurry photos or accidental PII exposure ➡️ image rejected without warning, preserving user trust and experience.

🛎 We’re protecting the mission and giving honest users the benefit of the doubt.

❤️ Wishing you health, warmth, and joy in the New Year! Thank you for standing with us.

Open your hearts in 2026!

Hey, kind Hearts ❤️

In Tuapse, Russia right now things are really tough for the animals.

Cause of the fire at the marine terminal, the city has been hit with black toxic rain mixed with mazut.

Stray dogs, cats and birds are walking around covered in sticky black sludge. Many of them are poisoned, can barely move, and are just sitting there on the streets.

If you’re in Tuapse or nearby and you see an animal in this condition - please don’t walk past.

Here’s what you can do yourself right away:

- Wash the animal carefully, first with regular vegetable oil, then with dish soap.
- Give it clean water and food.
If you can, take it home for a while or get in touch with local volunteers.

A quick reminder for pet owners:

- Keep an extra close eye on your dogs especially.
They spend more time outside than cats and are much more likely to get this stuff on them. Try to keep them indoors for now and wash them immediately if they come home dirty.

Just open your heart.

Yesterday powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela. Magnitudes reached 7.5 near the Caracas region, buildings collapsed, and a state of emergency is now in place. Aftershocks continue and the picture is still developing.
In the middle of all this, the animals need attention too. I mean both your own pets and the stray cats and dogs who already live without real protection. Disasters hit them hardest.
If you have pets in or near the affected areas, keep them with you. Have carriers ready, pack extra food, water and any medicines. Make sure tags and microchips are current. Do not leave them behind. They depend on you completely when everything turns upside down.
If you come across a stray cat or dog while moving through damaged neighborhoods, here is how to help without making the situation worse for anyone.
Your safety comes first. Aftershocks can arrive without warning and damaged structures may still shift. Move carefully and avoid risky areas.
Approach the animal slowly and speak in a calm, low voice. Give them space. A frightened animal can bite or scratch even if it is normally gentle, so let them decide you are not a threat. When it feels safe, offer clean water or a little food. This often helps them settle enough to let you get closer. Contain them gently if you can. A carrier, a sturdy box or a leash used with care works far better than chasing.

Check for a collar or tags with a contact number. If you can reach a working vet or shelter, ask for a microchip scan. That one step brings many pets back to their families.

If the animal looks badly injured, keep it as comfortable as possible and get professional care fast. Do not try to treat serious wounds yourself. The goal is simple - act quickly and safely, then hand the animal to people who can actually help long-term.

At the heart of it this is about responsibility. Pets are not things we set aside when life gets hard. They are living beings who trust us every day. Stray animals did not choose the streets and they did not cause this earthquake. They deserve the same basic chance at safety. If you can, support the groups already working on the ground. Verified local rescues need resources now. Even sharing clear, practical information helps. No animal should be forgotten while people recover.

Stay safe. And keep an eye out for the ones who cannot speak for themselves.

Just open your heart ❤️
