#WIP β Today I dusted off the little cintiq, updated its drivers on my laptop, and started working with it again. Because I'm about to be parted from my usual cintiq (a biiiig size difference) for a very long time, which is giving me a lot of anxiety. I was able to fix some performance issues on my laptop, thankfully... because I was also having anxiety over that, due to my large file sizes...
But I'm still just not the biggest fan of the way it feels compared to the big cintiq π₯² it's the pressure sensitivity that's throwing me off, as well as the surface of the screen. I find it much more difficult to manipulate my brushes. Although Metatron's robes look better on my phone and big cintiq than I thought they looked on my little cintiq, so I'm very confused all around... they still need work though, I don't like them yet.
(I feel so obnoxious, comparing cintiqs... but one was a gift and one I saved up my money for over a very long time...)

#WIP β Please enjoy this less-refined drawing of Beelzebub... It's not completed linework yet, but I really need to move on to other projects for Holiest, and I'm finding linework difficult to adjust to doing on the little cintiq.

One year ago today, I posted the Satan Family Portrait over on my instagram... although I had drawn a few pictures before it (and finished/updated existing pictures), it was still the first illustration that I completed start to finish after breaking my hand in January 2021. It took me almost all of June to complete, working almost exclusively on it. Like all of my pictures, there are parts I'm not pleased with (my own Lucifer's tail, and Satan's fabric) but it's still a miracle to me that this picture even exists. A big thank you to Jami for dealing with me sending daily progress updates on it just because I was so excited about it. π

So, the 23rd was my 22nd birthday and I'm so happy about these gifts by @sancta.seraphina that I had to of course share them here before doing it on instagram even though Asmodel was already fully shared by her π.
I cannot even explain the amazement I feel every time I look at both the finished Asmodel (inspired by one of Timoleon Π‘arl von Neff's works) and that super regal and "heavenly" Lucifer with his banner...so I'll just let you guys enjoy them and cry tears of joy forever πππ.
