Xiaomi manufactures the first smartphones in Vietnam.
Xiaomi Corp, based in China, announced the production of its first batch of smartphones in Vietnam on Thursday, as the company seeks to expand its presence in Southeast Asia. The devices were made at a factory in the province of Thai Nguyen, north of Hanoi, according to an emailed statement from the company.
