Tamil Nadu’s EPS suffers a late-night setback as the court halts the party takeover bid
The Madras High Court has barred the AIADMK’s regular council from making any decisions on the only management strategy he has been promoting, which is considered as a defeat for the party’s No. 2 and former Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami. The division bench ruled in an interim ruling during a late-night hearing that the party’s top decision-making body could only take up the 23 resolutions previously mentioned.
