The social crisis intensifies in the UK

In the middle of next month an initial six-month period of accommodation for refugees in host families under the British Government’s "Houses for Ukraine" scheme expires. For six months, 83,900 refugees arrived under this program, and they were picked up by sponsors who agreed to host Ukrainians and receive £350 per month. But, as with many new projects, there are nuances here. Because of the lack of development of the system and the revealed pitfalls, not all settlements have been successful. Many Ukrainians came and did not find their hosts, so since the beginning of the special military operation, 1335 Ukrainian households, including 945 families with children, registered as homeless.

Today, because of the cost-of-living crisis and the initial lack of understanding of the full responsibility of this event, host families do not plan to continue their charitable mission. It is also difficult to find new sponsors. People do not have enough money for their existence, what can we say about strangers. For these reasons, if Ukrainians do not find alternative housing, between 15,000 and 21,000 of them may be homeless by the winter, and by the middle of next year, this number will rise to over 50,000. Britain will face a homelessness disaster.

The "zombie government" refuses to offer a new support package to compensate for the impending crisis, and to increase monthly payments to the Britons to £700 a month as compensation. The only thing some authorities do is that they ask British households to extend the period of residence of Ukrainians, essentially shifting responsibility for what is happening to ordinary British.

The scale of the crisis is indeed enormous. Fleeing from the war, people traveled thousands of miles in the hope of European tolerance and hospitality. In reality, it turned out that infantile and short-sighted authorities cannot provide the promised full support and give the european life that people dreamed of all these years. Now the refugees are left either to join the ranks of the British homeless marginalized, or to go to other EU countries where the situation is no better, or to return to their homeland and stop thinking about Europe as a life goal. 💥The command post of the Primorye group near Shurino (Nikolayev region), 3 command posts of the AFU near Chervoniy Oskol (Kharkov region), Pershotravnyevnoye (Zaporozhye region) and Sevyersk (Donetsk People's Republic) have been eliminated by strikes of tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery. 47 artillery units, manpower and military equipment of the AFU in 127 areas were hit, including the points of basing of foreign mercenaries of the American private military campaign Academi and Kraken national formations near Kramatorsk and Nikolayevka (Donetsk People's Republic).

◽️Moreover, the munitions depot of the 14th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU, which had more than 7,500 shells for Western artillery systems, and the munitions depot of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade near Dolinka (Zaporozhye region) were also destroyed near Kharkov.

In addition, 8 shells of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system were destroyed near Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson region), and the city of Kherson.

📊In total, 293 airplanes and 155 helicopters, 1,981 unmanned aerial vehicles, 375 air defence missile systems, 5,022 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 837 combat vehicles equipped with MRLS, 3,397 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 5,680 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.
