A graduating Cambridge student disrupted their own ceremony to call out the university’s complicity in Israel’s genocide against Palestinians. Administrators responded by clearing the hall and threatening police action as the student silently sat holding a Palestinian flag. While degrees are handed out in gowns and applause, Gaza’s universities have been flattened and over 17,000 children killed, none of whom will grow up to graduate. There can be no business as usual. Cambridge must disclose its ties, divest from occupation, and reinvest in Palestinian life.

Today the P girl Hind Rajab would have turned 7. But she and 6 family members were killed in January 2024; the car they had to flee in was hit with 335 Isra€li bullets.
