Hezbollah announced carrying out 5 military operations over the past 24 hours in response to Israeli occupation violations of the ceasefire, attacks on civilians, and destruction of homes and villages in southern Lebanon.

The group said its fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli occupation soldiers and military vehicles in the towns of Qantara and Ramyeh using explosive drones and appropriate weapons, reporting confirmed hits.

On this day, 19 April 2024, Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh was killed in Israeli prisons as a result of torture. The doctor was injured while he was at the Indonesian Hospital.

He was arrested by the Israeli army on 19 December 2023 while he was at Al Awda Hospital, along with other medical staff, patients, and displaced people who were with him.

The Commission of Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced on 2 May 2024 the death of detainees from Gaza, including Dr. Al-Bursh.

According to information from the General Authority for Civil Affairs, Al-Bursh was killed in Ofer Prison on 19 April 2024. His body is still being withheld by the Israeli authorities.
