95% percent of Gaza’s flour reserves have been depleted as border crossings remain closed and no aid is allowed in. A flour bag chewed through by a mouse is still being sifted and used because throwing it away would mean wasting something worth 1000 shekels (around \$275 USD). With bakeries shuttered and no resupply on the horizon, flour has become even more precious than medicine.
