NEW | A new investigative report by MEE, based on Palestinian testimonies, has documented systematic sexual violence against detainees held in Israeli prisons, describing the abuse as part an “organised state policy” enabled by political, military, and judicial structures.

According to the report, compiled from accounts gathered by the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor and seen by Middle East Eye, former detainees from Gaza described repeated acts of rape, torture, and humiliation inside detention facilities, including Sde Teiman, with survivors reporting abuse carried out by Israeli occupation forces using objects, trained dogs, and filmed assaults used for intimidation and blackmail.

One survivor described being raped while bound and later threatened with the release of recorded footage, while others recounted severe physical and psychological torture, including repeated sexual assaults over multiple days, beatings, and degrading treatment inside detention...

A 40 million shekel project reduced to ruins.

Al-Bahar Fish Farm, once a fully integrated facility with a restaurant, fish farms and a hatchery, was built over dozens of dunams and became a key center for sea bream production in Palestine.

It produced around 300,000 kg of sea bream and became a leading name in aquaculture development.

The hatchery included 120 broodstock fish, each valued at $5,000, forming the backbone of its production system.

One day before the war, nearly 1.5 million sea bream were inside the facility.

During the war, it was first struck from the sea, then hit by airstrikes, and later bulldozed on the ground at Netzarim Junction, until nothing remained.

A complete agricultural and economic system, erased.

Its owner, Yasser Al-Hajj (Abu Yazan), now avoids returning to the site, unable to face what was lost.

Watch | Ana Kasparian referenced the report by the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, as cited by Middle East Eye, documenting systematic sexual violence against Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons.

She cited testimonies from former detainees describing severe abuse inside Israeli detention facilities, including Sde Teiman, and framed the findings as evidence of “organized state policy” involving political, military, and judicial authorities.

Kasparian criticized mainstream media coverage, arguing that war crimes are being underreported and calling for greater scrutiny of Israeli conduct in detention facilities. https://twitter.com/QudsNen/status/2044188380129611873#m
