Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

“The sensible person doesn’t (merely) look at what’s apparent, but he looks at the reality.”

Muhammad Ibn Sīrīn رحمه الله said:

“The people who speak most about the faults of others are often those with the most faults themselves.”

Imām Ash-Shāfiʿī رحمه الله said:

“When the people abandon you when you are in a time of distress,

then know that Allāh wants to take over your affair

and suffice you with Him as a guardian.”

Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

“The pain of separation (from someone you love) is greater than death sometimes…”

Sufyān ath-Thawrī رحمه الله said:

“I fear that I have only turned to Allah when I need Him and not because I love Him.”

Ibn Hazm رحمه الله:

I never cease to be amazed by someone who claims to love at first sight.

I find it hard to believe, and I say that this “love” is actually just a sexual impulse!

"Shyness that prevents you from speaking the truth is not Shyness at all, but only weakness."

Ibn Hibbān رحمه الله said:

“There's nothing more wasted than love given to someone who is not loyal, and a favor done for someone who is not grateful for it.”

Eid Mubārak 🌙

Al-Hāfiz Ibn Hajar رحمه الله said:

“Expressing joy on the occasion of Eid is from the symbols of the religion.”

Umar ibn al-Khattāb رضي الله عنه said:

“There is no relationship between Allāh and anyone except through obedience to Him.”

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another."

[Sunan Ibn Majah Book 9, Hadith 3]

Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said:

وصداع الرأس من علامات أهل الإيمان وأهل الجنة

“And headaches are from the signs of the People of Imaan and the People of Jannah.”

Luqmān the Wise said:

“Son, the first things you should acquire in this world are a righteous wife and a righteous friend.

You will find comfort in the righteous wife when you enter your home, and you will find comfort in the righteous friend when you leave your home to see him.”

Ibn Hazm رحمه الله said:

“There is a unanimous agreement among the scholars that growing the beard is obligatory for men.”

Grow your beard in obedience to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

In a time when people take pride in following every trend, take pride in following what Allah and His Messenger ﷺ commanded.
