The only thing i have realized from watching videos and reading articles about the weird complexity of time is that the whole notion of time being periodic (i.e like every 60 seconds you get a minute, every 60 mins you get an hour, every 24 hours you get a day and every 7 days you get a week, and so on) is wrong and not that useful. I think humanity should just decide to use an incrementing number based on some frequency (it should be of sth fundamental like the cesium atom thing) and use that to tell time. I know i am suggesting sth like the unix timestamp but it somewhat different. I think what i am saying we need to redefine time 🙃. (Insert that xkcd comic here 😂)

I led a HTML/CSS/JS workshop yesterday (Saturday, May 27) at CodeDay. I was showing them how to make a quiz app.

I should have made the prediction about NVIDIA, but it felt obvious that this would happen knowing that they hold the largest market share in the GPU space.

But i still think that they need to get their driver shit figured out, Why are they so afraid to open source their drivers.

If they are innovating at the hardware level, they should be comfortable open sourcing their drivers (they have open sourced the driver for one of their recent drivers but that is still not enough).

It's nice to see some of this AI hype money is trickling down to AMD as well.
