My problems with AI coding
1. Autocomplete
Your brain gets trained to wait for autocomplete to finish. Even when you know exactly what you want to write, it feels like a waste to type it yourself, so you pause and wait for the AI.
2. Code Gen via Prompting
I can’t predict the capabilities of these AI tools. Sometimes they knock it out of the park, and sometimes they just get confused. It makes every prompt feel like a gamble.

I'm reading this book "Tower in the Sky" by Hiwot Teffera. It is about the Ethiopian Student Movement of the 1970s that lead to the fall of Haile Selassie.
The great thing is it's a first hand retelling, hiwot, the author was part of the movement.
Will post the intersting quotes i find in the comments.
