Seems like the self-hosted PaaS platforms are tightly integrated with the proxy they are using. Most don't allow you to use any proxy you want, they only allow you to switch between a pre-configured few.

I have looked at Dokku, Dokploy and Coolify.

Created this little (but fun) game. Has lan mode and server mode. We were playing it in the office, it's actually pretty entertaining. It's entirely vibecoded.
