I have been watching this series recently called For All Mankind. It is set in an alternate reality where the Soviet Union beats America to the Moon and this leads to the space race continuing through the 70s, 80s and leads to humanity going to mars in 1995. It is a really cool thought experiment to see what changes that single event would have lead to. Plus it is a really cool drama that explores the lives of astronauts and the people around them (especially gordo in S01E07).
I guess i am late to the party with this sow it started streaming on Apple+ on November 1, 2019. It has 3 seasons out now (i am on S01E07) and season 4 is being made.
