The new update has been in "In Review" status for several days.
And I forgot to replace the announcement at startup.
The update will include:
- Renewed floating (bobber).
Animations have become smoother. Now it will be clearly visible when to strike.
- Reeling system.
Small fish will be weighed easily. Now the load on the ROD is taken into account in the force of resistance of the fish.
It may still be the case that a 5-kilogram fish will drag like another 200-kilogram fish.
- Fixed other invisible bugs.
Hopefully an update will be available soon.
And I forgot to replace the announcement at startup.

Big change #1. Game day and time. Each day will be separated on the periods: morning, day, evening and night. What a surprise ð
Each period is going to affect fishing location with visual effect.
Each period is going to affect fish activity. Finally, night-fish will bite at nighttime but there is always small chance to hook anytime.
Traveling is going to affect time.
Region change allows to skip up to 12 game hrs. Resort change will add 3hrs to your game time.
Big change #2. Tackle components can be totally broken. When element overloaded with 50% change player will waste this component. I think this must balance game a bit.

I've just finished testing of the tournament. I like this feeling.
What's new in the update:
1. Day and time. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Surprise ðŪ
Visual effect on the water to help you identify Morning, Day, Evening and Night.
2. Tournament. This is a regular competition. You can play multiple times a day and have much more fun from the game.
I used statistic to configure requirements for the winning. It's possible but hard to win.
Tournament annouce is available every Tuesday at 3:00. Make sure you won't travel thia time. (Change region skips ~12 hours, change fishing resort skips ~3-4 hours).
Tournament will start on the resort from the announce at Friday 5:00.
Open Fishing screen. Pay your bet. Have 24 hours fun. Tournament ends at Saturday 5:00.
You will be disqualified if you open menu during this 24 hours.
On tournament finish you can find the result in the Tournament menu.
Benefits:
3rd: bet * 1.5 + next level.
2nd: bet * 2 + next level + 50% of level.
1st: bet * 3 + 2 levels + my respect.

An important question. In the latest version you must hear the bird, environment sounds, etc when open the resort map and on the location. Have the update solved an issue with a background sounds?

Do you know that the spinning mechanics recognizes 5 types of retrieves?
You can animate the bait using the reel (hold the reel button down) for a steady retrieve. You can also use rod jerks (short press of the rod button), drags (long press of the rod button), and pauses. Combinations of these allow you to do:
Steady retrieve.
Stop&go (classic jig step).
Twitching (combination of reel and jerks).
Glides (long drags).
Chaotic retrieve (combination of short, long jerks and reel) - best for passive baits in the game.
And yes, the effectiveness of each retrieve varies depending on the bait you are fishing with.
