💡 Your first wallet

⚫️ To interact with the blockchain, participate in activities (as well as to trade Notcoin when the coin hits the market), you will definitely need a TON wallet.

There are two main types of wallets:

1. Custodial wallets, where the funds of all users are essentially stored with a third party — the organization that allows you to manage your assets.
2. Non-custodial wallets, where the money is stored directly on your personal address: only you have the secret phrase that grants access to them.

⚫️ Today, let's look at how to create a non-custodial wallet. For this, we recommend MyTonWallet, which we've written about several times. You can download the app for your phone, a Chrome browser extension, or a desktop application — it's your choice. Ideally, try all three.

⚫️ Creating a wallet is very simple — launch the app and press the «Add Wallet» button, then «Create Wallet». The next stage is the most crucial.

⚫️ The app will generate 24 words — this is your secret (seed) phrase. Never show it to anyone and under no circumstances enter it on third-party sites, as whoever possesses this phrase has full access to the funds in your wallet.

⚫️ Moreover, the secret phrase cannot be recovered, so make sure you have written it in a secure place, ideally on paper in several copies.

⚫️ Again, NEVER ENTER YOUR SEED PHRASE ON THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS. This is what scammers or fraudulent sites will most often ask for. NEV-ER. Thousands of dollars have already been stolen from trusting users — don't be one of them.

🔥 Reflecting on Notcoin and launching a $5000 contest for readers

⚫️ After analyzing the public activities of the Notcoin team, recent AMA sessions with project representatives, and completing several online courses in business analytics, we're finally ready to share our thoughts on the future of the much-discussed «Not coin».

Name. It all comes down to the fact that if the token is issued, it will likely be under the ticker $NOT. Obvious to many, but we thought it worth mentioning.

Listing. If the coin is issued, it's likely to be on major exchanges where $TON is already traded, such as ByBit, OKX, MEXC.

Acquisition. How to convert the in-game figure into a token in your wallet? We think the developers might opt for a «claim» format, where users will have to pay a small $TON fee (presumably <1$) for a special smart contract to send the coins to their account.

Price. Considering not all users will figure out how to get $TON for the claim, and the process of withdrawal will likely be time-limited, not all 20 million players will collect their coins. This means they could theoretically have some value.

Autoclickers and Cheaters. Currently, the transfer of notcoins between players is disabled. This is probably done so that fairly and unfairly earned tokens don't mix, meaning the developers have ways to track «suspicious» accounts, and their owners can expect an unpleasant surprise in the future.
