After Adam and Eve chose sin, they felt shame. They were suddenly aware of their nakedness. God provided animal skins to cover them- a sacrifice was made.
We are born in sin.
The wages of sin is death.
We are destine to an eternity apart from God the Father.
But God, so loved us that He provided the ultimate sacrifice. His one and only son.
Who came to this world perfect, without sin and shed His blood so that we may be covered and set free from sin, shame, death and separation from God the Father.
There is no greater love.
There is no greater gift.
The sacrifice has been made.
The price has been paid.
It is finished.

It’s a love so deep it scares me.
If I think on it too much, I feel like I’d burst into thousands of pieces.
My world moving about, making decisions, and being challenged.
Watching them grow, push through adversity and shine with resilience.
A fullness, a contentment, a frantic desire to slow it down and a need to soak it all in. Always evaluating what could have been done better, what was done right, … ahh but was it really done right? Daydreaming of the future, reflecting on the past -that I think just went too fast, honestly where did it go?
Savoring the now.
Seeing me in them, seeing their dad in them, parts of their grandparents.
Their Individualism.
Listening to their dreams.
Their goals.
Their desires.
Cheering them on.
So many prayers.
God is so good.
What a gift.
I don’t deserve it.
I am so thankful.
Beyond grateful.
Motherhood.

Happy Mother’s Day 💕

In just the last few days:
-A trade deal with the U.K. was secured
-An Executive Order was issued to lower prescription drug prices, with reductions ranging from 30-80%
-The last American hostage held by Hamas was released
-A temporary trade deal with China was made while a more substantial deal is in the works
-A deescalation (contributed to the current administration) took place between Pakistan and India, averting nuclear conflict
-Ukraine/Russia peace talks actually in the works, Zelensky and Putin are set to meet this week
-and the Market soars!

These are all good things.
I get the media will spin and the left will try to find something to complain about, but this is ALL GOOD.
Applaud the good.
